I set mine to lose a pound a week. So far I've been able to stick within the 1400 a day calories. Sometimes I have to eat some healthy fat to even get close. Maybe I'm being too picky with my foods but I'm staying away from breads and pasta as much as I can. I find if I eat them I just can't stop eating them lol

All tracked for Tuesday! I've been on mfp for a week and I've lost 3 pounds! I know it's mostly water weight but hey the scale moved!

I had my thyroid destroyed with RAI treatment and now take daily synthroid. It is a major struggle to lose weight. But until now I have maintained the same weight for 3 years. M ready to try losing for a change. I've switched to healthier choices and more movement in hopes of losing weight and gaining a healthier me.

I'm all tracked for today. Woohoo! I watch my fiber intake to make sure I get enough. Need to work on that. I also really ned to watch my fat intake, though I probably have it on the low side. I don't worry bout sugar levels because all of mine comes from fruit and a touch of honey in my yogurt. If I get close to where I…

For a really good dessert with cottage cheese here's one I love as well. In a blender add 1 cup cottage cheese, 2 cups of ice, 1/2 cup of skim milk, 2 tbs of cocoa powder( the baking kind) and a packet or 2 of stevia. Blend until smooth . Tastes like a Wendy's milkshake! High protein, low sugar and filling!

At the moment I am not on prednisone, but I am on Plaquinol for undifferentiated connective tissue disorder. I'm also on synthroid for hypothyroidism after RAI treatment. I also struggle with losing weight and fighting cravings. What has been working for me is plenty of lean protein and vegetables. I limit fruit to a…

I have really developed a liking for Japanese cooking. I think because the presentations are all so beautiful. I take the time to make a deal of my meals. Part of eating healthy is enjoying the food as well. My lunches are usually in Bento boxes and everyone comments on them. Over time I've also collected a nice eclectic…

I'm looking forward to lower cholesterol, easier movement, and fitting into my skinny clothes hanging in the closet!

I fill the bottom of my two tray bento box with rice and protein. Then the top gets all my veges with a fresh fruit on the side.
-
I find that I don't weigh all my food for my Bento's any more. I use the same food so often that I know the weight of my pre-frozen proteins (for ones that vary more, I write the weight when I initially freeze it on the bag) and rice by heart, and what the maximum level of vegetables is that will fit in the leftover space.…

So far I've been goid at tracking all my foods. I find it easiest to enter everything in as I'm looking at it in front of me before I start to eat, this way I can't miss anything! Lol

Try quinoa tabouli! Add in chopped parsley , diced seeded cucumber, chopped mint, cherry tomato halves. Dressing is olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and pepper to taste. Have as a side dish or a meal on a bed of greens
