Hi KristinMarie, great to hear the positive progress! It must be really hard having an athletic background and not being able to jump right back where you were! I think small steps are great for building momentum and really useful, especially for me as I've had an all-or-nothing mindset in the past. Keep up the small wins!

Have you read the book 'Brain over Binge' by Kathryn Hanson? It's really interesting and has helped a lot of people with binge eating. It's not conventional binge-eating advice, which is refreshing if you've read a lot of binge self-help books like I have! Do you track your binges too? I find this to be helpful, although…

I guess part of the reason I do a lot of cardio is so I can eat more...I won't lie and say that I always love to exercise just for the fun of it  think I'd be miserable eating just 1200-1500 every day cos that wouldn't leave enough for treats that help keep me sane  Thanks for the new responses!

I have a couple by Jim Rohn (don't know who he is but like his quotes) "If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll fall into someone else's plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much" "We must all suffer the pain of two things: the pain of discipline, or the pain of regret"

Hi guys, I'm trying to quit bingeing too! Had an awful 5 day binge last week but been ok this week so far. Not counting calories at the moment as sometimes I find this triggers bingeing, just trying to eat healthy and cut out refined sugar and alcohol (I like wine far too much!)
