I love kettle bells. You get cardio and strength training in one. Walking - fast. Yoga. Those are my in home go tos.

I eat what I like! Why would I waste money, time, and calories eating stuff I think is gross? Take a multi-vitamin daily to cover any holes in the diet. (No, it won't makeup for everything - but it's a good start).

It's all about the person. Drastic, obsessive, weight loss is not my style. That doesn't mean it's wrong - it just means for me I've tried it, the weight came back on as fast as it came off. I need a lifestyle approach - not an all or nothing. It took me just over a year to lose 100 lbs. and I've kept it off for over 5…

So in 5 months you've lost a total of 23 pounds (assuming I have my stone to pounds conversion correct). That is nothing to complain about.

This has to be a troll post.... Eating that much fibre - I'm not even sure it's humanly possible without exploding. You couldn't drink enough to get it out!

You can find the glycemic index online. As far as what makes your sugar levels spike - that is very individual. Basic rules for diabetics - carbs are carbs and your body (for insulin purposes) does not differentiate between good or bad carbs. The lower the glycemic index...the less likely eating those foods will spike your…

Your base calories seem way off. You may want to try calculating them again. My brother is 6'4" and over 400 lbs. his daily goal is ~2400 for 2 lbs. per week. As for eating back exercise calories - I only eat 1/2 of mine back AND only when the total burn is over 1000 calories. I find MFP, Fitbit, etc. to give you far too…

I LOVE kettle bells! They give you a cardio + weight workout at the same time. Lots of routines on YouTube. Find some you like and start swinging!

Totally a personal preference as long as all your food is within, and close to, your calorie goal. I have breakfast about 10, lunch about 2 and dinner about 6 - that works for me.
-
For accuracy pasta should ALWAYS be weighed in it's dry state. The reason - depending on how al dente you like it, it can soak up more or less water giving you an absolute inaccurate measurement.

If changing the batteries doesn't help. Sounds like it's time to buy a new one. I use a digital scale and I get the same reading if I step on it more than once.

Wraps are a complete waste of money in the long run. They will however help you sweat off some pounds and maybe an inch or two. If you have an outfit that is just a tad snug and you want it to fit nicer for a special occasion - do a wrap. Just don't expect lasting results (on the weight or the inches). As to what works for…

Depends a lot on your age, your toning exercises, and how the weight loss is distributed. Everyone is different. My suggestion. Lose the weight as you plan and do some toning type exercises along the way.

From what I see, you are eating healthy - you just need more of the same. Your protein numbers are much lower than what my doctor recommends (your doc may have a different opinion). I'd add some protein to your salads. One of my favorite snacks is an apple with peanut butter - that's an easy 300 calories and fairly…

I've tried their program - twice. No lasting results to speak of. For weight loss - it comes down to the 2-day "cleanse" once a week. Of course, you'll lose weight, you aren't getting the calories you need. I only spend about $100 per month on groceries - so financially I really thought it was a complete waste.

Definitely see a doctor about your issues. Very low blood sugar can be very dangerous. Cutting added/refined sugar should not lower your glucose level far enough to be dangerous. Cutting all carbs could be (and there really isn't any need for it).
-
For me time is super short in the a.m. - I drink a protein drink (a mix of Click Espresso protein, and Walmart Whey protein). It tastes great, keeps me full for hours (at least 4), isn't too expensive, etc. I'm boring I drink it almost every day.

Hummus with raw veggies; apple with pb, cooked veggies with a bit of ranch dressing.
-
If it's water that makes you ill - coffee, tea, soda, flavored waters, etc. still are water based and thus would still make you sick. Absolutely seek medical advice on this. In the mean time - eat lots of veggies since they have a high water content.
-
So change your macros to fit your lifestyle. Or don't track them at all.
-
For me - I love peanut butter (crunchy for me). I think powdered PB is disgusting. I just fit it into my calories. It works perfectly!

Remember that weight loss, regardless of calculations, is not linear. Things happen. You retain water, your body needs a few "catch-up" days, whatever. My suggestion is to set your goal weight, follow the MFP calorie recommendations, aim to lose up to 2 pounds a week (less if you don't have much to lose), move more, and…
-
Great job. Just don't be disappointed if the weight loss does not eliminate the need for medication. I was diagnosed as being diabetic - AFTER losing over 150 pounds. Not what I had expected at all.
-
My best advice (having lost over 150 lbs) - eat a balanced diet with foods you love. Keep the calories as close as possible to what MFP gives you (believe me - if you undercut them drastically it is sooooooooooo hard to stay on track - been there, done that), celebrate each pound lost, don't set a time limit to lose x…
-
With the info you have given - I'd say in three months you could lose 6-8 lbs and tone up a lot (lots of weights). Remember though that your sister wants you in her wedding regardless of those extra few pounds so don't starve/over exercise to get there!
-
Wow....I know this sounds harsh, that is just way unhealthy. You should be aiming for .5 to 1 lb. loss per week.
-
For 371 calories, I'd eat a piece of chicken and lots of veggies. That should fill you up and come in right on calories.
-
MFP is a great tool. You need to use it as such. It is not a cure all. But I've lost almost 100 pounds by using the MFP calorie guideline, using common sense so I get the biggest nutritional bang for my calories, and moving more. As a tool it works great!
-
This, plus, you need to make sure all of your days have adequate nutrition. So many save calories to splurge on junk food calories and their nutrition, and health, suffers.

You've lost 3 lbs in a week. That means you've exceeded the goal of 2 lbs. Weight loss is not linear. My trainer has to remind me that if I eat healthy (and at a deficit), get my exercise in, the weight will come off. Sometimes at .5 lbs a week, sometimes at 3 lbs. a week. This is a long-haul lifestyle. You can't gauge…
