Hi, I stopped my snacking by making sure my three main meals are big enough to keep me going until the next meal. If I do start feeling peckish in between meals, I will drink a glass of water and wait for 10 mins as usually you are thirsty and not hungry. Weight loss is a mental thing as much as physical, something that really stuck for me is that you have to learn to love yourself now and look to improve what you have. Because if you hate your body now you will still hate it when you are thinner. It is a mental attitude.
