  • I'm 5'7" and 132lbs and I'm currently losing very slowly on 1200kcal. My maintenance is around 1450.
  • I think the issue is that most of MFP's exercise calorie estimates (and even estimates from HR monitors) can be way too big, so if you're eating back all of your exercise calories, you may be going over your target net calories for the day.

  • I... don't really know. My water intake comes from tap water, bottled water, diluted sugar-free squash and water with lemon in.
  • They aren't there to make you feel bad - it's their job to make you feel BETTER :) You have another little life to look after now, you don't want to accidentally do anything to endanger them (eating too much or too little.) Be safe, see the dietician, especially if it's covered! They'll be able to give you more specific…

  • Not recently no - did the diet changes and activity-upping a couple of months ago. The dehydration feeling has coincided perfectly with the increase of water.
  • In short, yes, calcium does stop your body absorbing as much iron. But it doesn't stop the absorption completely. An important thing to note is that the iron in iron-fortified cereal isn't the same as the iron in your iron supplements. In fact, the iron in the cereal can be absorbed up to 4 times BETTER than the iron in…
