You talked about liking coffee creamers, I liked them too but they have no nutritional value. I started buying premier chocolate protein shakes and discovered that they make a pretty good creamer too. That way I get protein with my coffee. I do not recommend powdered protein drinks, they end up gritty and nasty.

I work 3 12hr in a row. It helps with my sleep wake cycle. If i have days off between shifts it is like I did not have time off and I can't sleep. Sleep is very very important and you need to guard it. I eat breakfast in the morning trying to conserve calories. I plan out what I will take out to work with me. Most of the…

I suppose that I should have read the whole thread before responding.

Seven years is a long time. I had bad news from my doctor. I had been halfheartedly trying to correct my medical path and it was not working. I got on MFP to educate myself about what I was putting in my body, and I needed a food tracker to tell me how much protein, carbs and fats I was eating. After logging several days I…

When did you last do this diet and exercise routine?

Mental fog and headaches can come from more than eating at a deficit. Are you getting enough sleep? Are you getting enough water? If you think that you get a mental fog between meals, perhaps you should schedule some if your calories for snacks between meals.

Activity level is how you are with out the exercise. I have a very active lifestyle but I put my activity level at sedentary because my phone automatically tracks my activity and gives me points. I wear my phone at all times. I don’t want to double up on my calories. I have found that the calorie estimates that are on the…

Sorry I remember some where that you had a cheese cake thread. So I shuffled through the many threads that I had saved to fine the link to the thread. Boy you did a lot of work on that thread! Anyhow I found your V2 plus many tweaks. (Hangs head in shame for not reading or saving the thread when it was brought up because I…

thank you for your recipe

Wait... I haven't been making your cheese cake with cottage cheese, just cream cheese and yogurt. Do I have a missing ingredient or do you swap it with one of the other ingredients?

Twas a big orange!

Yoga has helped my posture considerably.

Wow that’s good advice!
-
I was surprised how much fat and calories hummus had in it. Then I looked at the ingredients.
-
When I started I was a grazer. It’s amazing how many calories you can add up with a little bite here and a little bite there. Last week I ate an peeled orange that weighed 326g and was 300 calories. It was the most delicious thing I ate all day.

Do you have a doctor that specializes in livers? It doesn’t seem that your doctor has told you much except to lose weight.
-
So what kind f vegetarian are you? (vegan, Ovo-Lacto, Ovo, Lacto) How long have you been a vegetarian?
-
Does the doctor have any suggestions to help your liver?
-
I wouldn’t count 500 calories of chocolate a binge. If you kept it in your calories what is the problem?
-
Are you weighing every thing you eat and logging it. A good kitchen scale can do wonders for weight loss!

If my post seemed disrespectful because I have not had the surgery, and I encouraged op to try the things that she knows she must do after surgery before the surgery I’m sorry. I work in a hospital and have a skewed view if bariatric surgery. I get to see all the train wrecks. And of the friends I know that have had the…

Glad you had a great birthday Kelly! Sorry I missed it too
-
Hope your day was the best Jen!
-
Please just consider that if you are going to have the entire way you will be eating after the surgery, to try that way of eating before the surgery. I have a friend that told me that if she knew that she was going to have to eat as much protein as she needed after the surgery she would have done that and not have the…

thanks for the recipe, I will enjoy them

Agreed we do have some awesome food posted here

The food that was posted looked delicious and I would very much enjoying eating it. That said, I have always seen Lasagna as pasta layered with whatever toppings one wishes, with cheese on top. Because I have always seen lasagna as a pasta dish I would have asked where the pasta was too. Crazyravr already said he thought…
