I had vertigo for a solid month once. It was awful. Taking ginger caplets did help with the nausea part, so that might be an option as well.

I had hypertension as an active 135-pound 18yo that required medication to treat. As I've gotten older & larger I've required stronger doses to keep it under control, but regardless of how much weight I lose I will always need meds. It is genetic and is of the type where there is no known cause. Eating or restricting salt…

It isn't the coffee brand. It's the fact that I don't care for black coffee regardless of brand. :)

The coffee I drink is 10 calories for 16oz, or so it claims. When I have some it's 8oz so I log that 5 calories. What kills me is the 140 calories of creamer it takes to make it drinkable! So now I just drink tea w/liquid stevia most of the time and treat coffee as a splurge.

Didn't buy any to hand out and this is the first year my kids did not ToT so I don't have to worry about staying out of their stash. I will, however, have some treats at the movies when we go tonight and I have room in my day for it, so, Yay Me!

Prior to the current attempt this was me, as well. If I screwed up one day the whole week, at the very least, was shot. I'd already screwed up so "f it, I'll start again next week." Now every day is a new day. It's fabulously freeing!

I lost 80 pounds in 8 months doing a VLC liquid diet in 2006. Got around 135g protein daily, very little fat and carbs. As soon as I stumbled and started back with real food I packed it all back on and another 30 pounds on top of it in about a year. I never learned how to eat doing it, just how to avoid food, so I went…

Good grief. "Actually, now that you mention it, I am dying... to get out of this conversation!"

Picked up the e-version of New Rules for Women and the YAYOG app. Look forward to delving in now that I've finished this thread. Thanks, usmcmp, for starting this thread and all the helpful information throughout. <3

I glance at it out of curiosity, but I don't take it as gospel. That number only reflects if you ate/exercised every single day the same way you did that one and is still just an estimate at that. My overall trend is down so I'm plenty happy with that.

Why ask if you're just going to plow ahead with your way? It's not healthy, but it's your body and if you choose to do it that way there's not a single person here who can change your mind for you.

You're right. Sorry!

The last time I weighed 135 I wore an 11/12. I am 5'. That was three kids and 22 years ago, though, so I'm not sure what I'll be in if I ever get there again.

Agreed! As an example, the Daily Chef canned chicken I get at Sam's Club states on the label that there are 'about 5 servings' in the can. It's actually closer to 3, whether I measure it with 1/3 cup or weigh it to the grams listed.

SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE! (Sorry, couldn't help myself. What on earth were they thinking naming their product Soylent?) My breakfast every day is a Premier Protein pre-made shake. 30g protein, 3g fiber, 3g fat, and 160 calories. It's fast, easy, and keeps me satisfied for hours. I tried the powder that I mixed with water…

If I only drank when I was thirsty I'm pretty sure I'd be perpetually dehydrated. I have to force myself to drink "8 cups" (and I count my 1-2 cups of tea each day toward my water since I only sweeten it with a small squirt of liquid stevia). But I do rely on MFP's counter to tell me how much I've had since I log it as I…
