@thewanglers, welcome to MFP and the group! Meal tracking is a great place to focus. For me, seeing all those calories add up helps me keep my eating in control (most days) and make better food choices.

This January I am concentrating on paying attention to what I put in my body. The habit I am working on is tracking my food. I am also focusing on making sure I drink enough water on the days I work from home.

I am so glad I found this thread. I didn't know there was a name for this area. I've always referred to it as a front butt, lol. You have all given me hope that I can get rid of mine as I continue on my weightloss journey. Going to take some "before" pictures tonight so I will be able to compare.

I haven't quit all social media, but I did give up phone games for the month of January. I deleted all the games on my phone on Dec 31st. I was wasting so much time on games that when I really thought about it weren't all that fun. It was much easier than I thought it would be to give them up.

I recently read Decluttering at the Speed of Life. The process outlined really makes a lot of sense. I have been working on trying to declutter, but it is soooooo hard. I've signed up for a dance/fitness class that starts this Thursday. I'm excited/nervous for it to begin. I am so out of shape right now and I am a little worried it is going to be full of in shape people who know what they are doing and I am going to feel like an idiot as I struggle to keep up. I don't put too much stock in BMI. I know a lot of people who don't need to lose any weight that are in the overweight range. It is because it doesn't take into account if you have a muscular build.

I know a few people who have lost weight doing this diet then they gain it all back once they stop. I wouldn't recommend it. It is a miserable diet and you will be miserable on it.
