If I have time to relax: coffee with 1/2 cup of milk along with 1/2 cup of homemade granola and 1/2 cup of blueberries If I have to run: coffee with 1/2 cup of milk, one all natural turkey jerky stick and one all natural string cheese stick. I get incredibly nauseous in the morning if I eat too much and run off to do…

Congrats to the both of you! :) Let's all get fit and awesome! My family has tons of obesity in it and I wanted to avoid all of their health issues if I could (especially diabetes). My new goal funnily enough came about from discovering my favourite activity- Krav Maga (and Jiu Jitsu). Now I also want to lose weight so my…

Hello! I'm 153 right now but based on how I felt when I was 145 my goal weight is 125 (with a pause at 135 for evaluation) for a 5'7 cusp small-med frame. My goal is to get a rocking strong body for Krav and Jiu Jitsu because I would love to have the best frame to get certified as a trainer of Krav. I know, lofty goal by…

I am horrified honestly when my friends talk to me about how to resist/delete (ha) added sugars "like I have", and how it is such a great diet. I can't explain to them how much replacement foods typically don't work and how I just eat the things I like in reasonable portions (I legitimately hate chocolate and sweet items…

I consider myself on a journey as vague as that word is. I never framed my journey to healthiness as losing weight (even though I am), but as a path to endlessly improve myself throughout my life by being able to make good health choices.

My favourite is honestly my homemade granola. That with some milk and blueberries makes me feel all sorts of giddiness. :)

Age: 22 Height: 5'7 HW: 181 LW: 145 CW: 152 GW: 125 I gained a bit due to stress after losing a lot due to stress. Overall goal is to make myself a lean, mean Krav/Jitsu machine. :P Especially since I've made a goal to get certified as a trainer in Krav at the very least.

Punching and kicking all types. Done in sets of five minutes fast on both sides makes me giddy.

At the start, both of my parents being obese and a desire to avoid obesity related conditions that they go through. I also want to feel sexy and powerful and in control for the first time in my life.

Woah that is wonderfully inspiring- thanks for sharing!

Losses in pounds motivate me personally but I am also motivated by my improvement in my favourite sports. There's also a hint of pride about being able to wear things that I feel uncomfortable wearing right now. :)

Welcome! Personally I stay motivated by focusing on a performance goal instead of just a number on a scale. By that I mean finding a sport that you really like and want to perform well in and getting fit for that. Mine's Krav and Jiu Jitsu for instance. :)

Yup it is a start but a great one! Best of wishes to you. :)

Just recently started using a scale and I love it since I eat a lot of stuff that does not have labels (fresh fruits and vegetables mainly). Plus I no longer have to eyeball milk which was horrible due to differences in my measuring cups. Some of my family thinks it is weird, but I don't care since I'm determined to avoid…

Honestly I don't know what my frame is, probably a medium. However I am 5'7 with a start weight of 159, current of 155 and goal of 120-125 (with a stop temporarily at 135 to evaluate if I should go lower).
