Welcome back shorty! I hope this time you will stay focus and on track. One thing to keep in mind while on this journey, is for you to remember that once you lose all that weight, it doesn't end there. Most people get to there go and they just think they will remain that way without doing the work to maintain it. Losing…

Stop beating your self up about it. It happened, so what? The good thing is, you've recognized that's a habit you need to deal with. If you know this an habitual thing, then I will suggest maybe setting aside something such as a cup of baby carrots to snack on while you cook. Apples or cheery tomatoes are good snack foods.…

Not sure why anyone would question what USMCMP posted. She's is right on point with her post. 75% of your weight loss will come from your diet and 25% will come from exercise. If you want to do more cardio, that's ok, but a lot of your weight loss is dependent on your caloric intake. Exercise just helps a little for…

4:30AM here, but not my favorite cup of tea. I am not an early morning person, but I do it to get it so I don't make excuse that I can't get it done because of kids and wife's needs. You have to find a way to get it done if it is that important to you.

@dcresider, fat storage for everyone is different. Some people store most fat (primary fat) in their hips, thigh, belly, back of their arms and bottom. The rest of the fat (secondary fat) is spread out over the body. The problem is most people will lose the secondary fat first and then everything else come to a screeching…

It is fine as long as you don't go over that figure. That figure was determined based upon your height, current weight, age, etc. Depending on how hard of a workout, there maybe days you will need to it more. So this will come handy. Don't change anything. Curious, how tall are you? I am 6ft-8'' and MFP recommends 3060…

LindsayPosey, welcome back! I am very curious about why you quit the first and second time. If that problem is not dealt with, I am afraid to say...you are just going to keep quitting. It is very important to know what it is and deal with it head on. The journey of losing weight is not going to be easy, but staying…

What is your current activity level settings? Sedentary, Active, Very Active. The frequency and amount of your caloric intake is determined by how active you are. You should only eat back calories if you are hungry. Don't fall into that trap of eating back calories if you are not hungry. Don't worry, you will know if you…

Weigh In Once a week. Any day of the week is fine. In your case you picked Saturday. Do not get caught up in weighing in everyday or you will get obsessed with the whole process of weigh in. Because your weight goes up and down during weight loss you don't want to be doing weigh in daily and then get disappointed, because…

@CantStopEating, I want to applaud you for taking this step and the goal of completing an Iron Man race. You can achieve your weight loss goal while you train for Iron Man. Please don't take this the wrong way, but losing weight first before you train for Iron Man is kind of an oxymoron statement. Forgive me if I am read…
