  • Just went thru and added many of you! Hopefully we can start challenges right away. Add me if I haven't added you: [edited by mods] Let's motivate and compete!
  • I'm 29 for only two more weeks.... Okay I'm going to go cry in a corner now
  • I just downloaded my first ever K-Pop song two days ago to add to my running lists. My husband thinks I'm weird but I'm in love with the song! And even though I'm almost 30, the boys who sing that song are really adorable. Ahh, makes me wish I was 16 again lol
  • See ya week 4! Saying hello to week 5 Wednesday (oh gosh oh gosh I hope I don't die)
  • Nice job! I did w4d2 as well today. Went much better than w4d1 but that's more than likely due to the huge drop in heat here. It makes me so excited to run in fall. And yes, week 5 is right around the corner!
  • Finished w4d1 yesterday and was so pleased I was able to do it. I even really enjoyed the first 3 and 5, felt so good. But... That last 5.... Oh boy oh boy. I will just say I jogged it and didn't stop. Doesn't matter that my time slowed down a minute and half, I did it without stopping and very happy. Looking forward to…
  • Add me! My husband and I will be trying to conceive once I get to a healthy weight. And I get the love for food. Addiction runs strong in my family and food was mine. I'm glad you have a supportive husband - it helps so much!
  • There's also a deviation on weighing in sometimes. Mine has a deviation of .4 lbs (on it it says d =.4) so there are times where mine will fluctuate a bit just due to a bit of error.
  • I was at a store a few days ago waiting and crossed my legs. I randomly ran my hand under my thigh and didn't feel the dimples that I normally do when crossing my legs in shorts. That was after three weeks on the C25K. I look forward to when I get several more weeks in
  • Just ran week 4 day 1 today. Can't believe I was able to do 3,5,3,5. Loving the feeling of getting back into longer distance running. So enjoyable! Anyone feel free to add me. I love seeing others hit their goals on their runs; it inspires me!
  • Feel free to add me
  • Definitely feel free to add me. I have more than 70lbs to drop on my journey to my goal weight
  • Add me! I'm currently on week 4 of C25k and it helps so much to see others working out! Makes me get off my butt and go
  • My brother died shortly after his 30th bday from a heart attack (he was very much overweight but his heart was weakened due to many years of drugs). This was about two years ago. I think it's finally hit me that it can happen to me too. I'm about to turn 30 in a few weeks and I do not want to ruin my life because I can't…
  • Knife party - bonfire (for a consistent long run) Kamelot- when the lights are down (time to finish this baby up) And many of the others people have mentioned. I like that someone enjoys Lindsay sterling like me (I can lose myself in Crystallize)
  • I was able to put on a pair of work pants that haven't fit in two years comfortably! Also I managed to run my week 4 day 1 on C25k. It's crazy that before I started this walking wore me out and today I ran intervals of 3,5,3,5.
  • Feel free to add me. I've finish almost two weeks and it's much easier now. Those first three-four days were pretty rough but if you can make it through that it becomes much better. You can do it!
  • Two of my favorites to loose myself in: Bonfire - knife party When the lights are down - kamelot For some reason when these two come on I'm ready to just go!
  • I'm the same age and for a long time struggled with the same issues. However I started to change my mentality a while ago. At first it was lying to myself in the mirror. Sounds weird, but I would think "you've got a hilarious personality and pretty hair and nice eyes". Focusing on what I found positive eventually made me…
  • I just did some experimenting and found that I really enjoy a shot of Tito's vodka with a splash of orange juice and some lightly squeezed resh fruit. I'm going to try frozen fruit tonight to see if it can kinda double serve as ice. I'm very interested in trying infused vodka. You get a mason jar, add fresh fruit,…
  • Chewing gum can help some people fight off the need to eat, but I remember reading the aspartame in sugar free can actually make you hungrier, which would lead to eating more. I guess like everybody else says, do it all in moderation.
  • Try finding someone who can help hold you accountable and/or give motivation. I'm just starting back on running the couch to 5k and I have a friend who goes with me. I know I wouldn't get off my butt otherwise. Also, when it comes to food, I have my husband really helping me out on trying to make the right decisions on…
  • I just got my food scale so I can't say that it's been the cause of my weight loss. What I can say is that I'm already noticing a large difference in accuracy between my eyeing it and trying to measure it out to actually putting it to the scale for its true weight. I noticed that I was missing several hundred calories…
  • I run for wine. I could never give up a glass or two of red, but I only feel right about drinking it after a morning of exercising. Now going out for dinner with the girls and everybody having a margarita (or two or three or a few pitchers), this is when I struggle. I have to say no and then usually sulk a bit in my water.
  • Alabama!
