I love myself too. I'm not thick naturally, but eat a *kitten* tonne :)

Reevaluate your goals. If your goal is to lean out then lose the goal of lifting heavy. Make the goal higher reps or a cardio based goal. I tend to do more cardio based goals like swimming or running for distance when cutting.

I found topamax was my miracle drug, mixed with 20 mg lexapro and 50 mg trazadone. Each person needs to find a mix or drug that works for them

What kind of exercise do you do? I find that it takes. A bit to find something that makes you feel good. Something that creates a sense of mastery- that you feel or know that you are good at, and makes you feel more confident. I switched to performance based weight lifting because of this. If you feel *kitten* in a gym…

Whatever lift moves the bar the most Snatches Cleans Thrusters

I don't see the point. It won't stay off and you will likely gain it back plus more. If you were doing a BB show or something, might make sense to see the six pack, but seems unnecessary and risky to me

You can't teach someone how to eat intuitively. The whole idea of intuitive eating is that you eat according to your body's wants and needs

Why are you doing a bodybuilding split? You are not an advanced bodybuilder are you? I think I would switch to a three day full body routine around compounds like stronglifts and then do cardio the other two days. Beer does not mean beer belly, excess weight on your body means beer belly. Where you store fat is genetic

I eat the great value macaroni and beef and other low calorie pastas and then add my own protein like pre cooked shrimp or egg whites. I also eat a lot of canned foods such as corn and beans

You can take a look at my diary, it is open to see how I gain slowly on 3000 plus Cal's per day

This is why I'm learning cleans!!

Amazing goal! I was able to quit once with patches, but then started again. Because of that, Canadian government paid for me to use champix! Literally so turned off by smoking as it smells and tastes like vomit on that pill. Now never have been attracted to it since.

Look up exposure therapy. Slowly allow yourself more and more time in the gym exposing yourself to the things that trigger your anxiety. Don't expect it to just disappear magically, it will take work and slowly dissipate the more you are exposed to the anxiety and find out that its not a bad thing to be in the gym.

best luck, even if you fall of ff the wagon please keep coming back and dont giveup

It is not maintenance then? Decrease by 100 calories until you stop gaining

My new year's resolution is to get a bit more of a social life

I have used my Samsung watch in the past but don't anymore. It tracked heart rate but told me I burned calories as if I was performing cardio. Most are not accurate, even the polar HR monitors. I currently use jefit to plan and track my workouts for weight lifted etc. But overall don't find that counting the calories…

YMCA also has a community element which goes to a wonderful cause, my opinion is it has a better charitable focus

Honestly, actors often just look like themselves. I believe that actors do not need to look stellar, rather like normal people that they play. That's why you often see actors in shows and movies with acne scars, thin and under built, or with poor posture and bags under eyes

I am ~in recovery/remission~ from anorexia and bulimia My treatment team gave me the goal weight of 138 lbs to get out of inpatient program*** THIS IS NOT ENOUGH I am currently 154 lbs, a year ago I was 170. Eat regularly according to a normal patterning of breakfast, lunch, and dinner following your TDEE and your weight…

If your goal is to have bigger quads go with front squats. If your already doing a high-bar squat, no point in doing them unless your thinking of doing any olympic-style weightlifting (think cleans etc.) If your thinking of changing your position, I really advocate for learning a low-bar squat which activates more muscle…

Agree with paper. I listened to a starting strength podcast and it said that in 10 years you'll still be doing fitness, but you won't have the same apps.

Yep! Regularly on and off since 2013 or so. This account since 2015

From my lowest (115) when I was anorexic and went into an inpatient recovery program... to 3 years later, eating 3300+ calories per day and doing 90 mins 5 days a week of olympic-style weightlifting

Happens to me too! But I find after a week or so it goes away. Try sleeping with a towel or blanket under you that you can remove halfway through the night, or a new shirt / undies that you can change into. Also I find having the window open and heat off helps

Yes! I exercise everyday as it is one thing that I can do constistantly in my life. Every morning at 6 AM. Whether or not I was up at 3 AM or feel like staying in bed past 5 30. Small steps though are key to success. I have found with bipolar I tend to take an all-or-nothing approach to everything, and that can lead me…
