  • Get walking, the dog, with your family, with friends, hit the gym with a buddy, it helps me to keep going. Making it past those first few weeks is hard when you restrict your diet, but now I see how good I can do with the calories I have. Add me if you want! I do support. :)

  • Hey, take control of your diabetes! You've got this! It might be harder now, but with dedication you'll be feeling amazing in no time. :) just keep up with your doctor about what you're doing. I myself am trying to avoid high GI foods... Diabetes type 2 runs in the family. =/

  • Ever tried pea protein powder in a shake? For 20bucks though, you can't really go wrong. Even if you just sprinkle some in when cooking.

  • I am avoiding dairy, I have been lactose intolerant since I was a kid. Protein shakes are sooooo delicious but I find myself wanting to eat even after using them. Is that just a stage I'm going through or what? I used to eat low fat cottage cheese for the protein but the pain isn't worth it now. =/
