Quality steps over quantity is my approach, I Brisk walk, jog, run and climb stairs within 30 minutes and that is all below 7000 steps.

I am short 5" 1.5" and lightly active. I tried upping calories but my weight loss stalled, I am not in a hurry to lose either. I have appetite when I am hungry :)

Hmm, MFP calculations not mine. good to know that my macros are fine, because I have been feelling hungry at night and trying to play around with macros. do you think saving fats till the end help with this situation? I have not tried it yet neither I read that online but just brain storming :)

I don't have a quote. Fear got me there, I was healthy no issues even though I was obese, but fear of tomorrow so I did not want to risk becoming unhealthy, Fear worked for me.

You guys are tempting me to go buy a crockpot, I am just wondering about time spent on prepping and cleaning. I am always on the go. But I used to love Carraba's Restaurant shredded chicken noodle soup. I do chicken tenderloins twice a week.

Figure out macros in grams and make sure you hit them / to help with protein add some vegan protein powder

Make this process easy for you. What is easy for me is to eat the same breakfast and lunch then it varies for dinner/snacks. Not much planning so I can do this and continue to. I have been only counting calories in the last 8 months with carbs are the least consumed and I am thinking to try LCHF. But I do not want the extreme Ketosis, I like to try High fat, my focus now is high protein to avoid muscle loss and achieve satiaty so I am not sure at this point.

Tilapia and mahi have a mild fishy flavor. it is not a lost cause and you do not have to eat it, you can take fish oil softgels lemon flavored to get your nutrition in.

I do think sugar plays a big role in this, and may be cut it out entirely for a few weeks then introduce it again moderation -- might kick start the weight loss!!

Tried to eat at a deficit which was set at .5 lbs " zyxst"and this did not work. still wanting to reach maintenance and that is when my brain stops asking for food. I am considered to be on a diet break since I have been in maintenance not intentionally in the last 4 weeks. I am 45 yrs old and hormones probably not stable. I might stick with maintenance for another week or two and see. Thank you ilex70!

PB2 does not taste good on it's own, I love it in yogurt and shakes.
