I'm taking a shortish road trip this weekend and I'm hoping to see some!

I've only seen two Lickytingues today - mostly Clefairy in my neighborhood.

Anyone else having trouble getting and staying logged in on the game? It's been the last couple of days...?

I think they must be able to copy higher CP - I have a CP 528 Ditto and it costs 4000 stardust and four candies to power up - same as my CP 2114 Arcanine so I think there's some correlation.

Guess my drug dealer was feeling generous. Yesterday I caught a Magickarp that turned out to be a Ditto. I thought Dittos were just in Pidgeys and common Pokémon. I got a second Ditto that started as a Pidgey. So, TWO Ditto in one day! Actually, in one 2.5 mile walk!

@Broomstick_Boo - you're right I went out for a long walk and found them much more reasonable. I guess I'm that person who just complains...haha...but the game is like a drug dealer. Generous with the 10K eggs but now...times are hard all over. Hahaha

I got fed up with difficult low-value Pokémon so I'm mostly just walking to collect and hatch eggs. I still like hatching eggs. I'm also walking to collect candy to power up my Ditto.

I'm still learning. The activity wheel only fills when you do activity equal to a brisk walk. I read that somewhere. I'm not sure how it decides "brisk" because I take 2-3 mile walks (not strolls) and get less than 10 minutes' credit for activity.

Haha - I'm 53! All my kids are grown and I have grandchildren. I'm probably not the demographic they expected but walking to hatch eggs for me is like getting the Cracker Jack surprise and I walk a little further each week.

Could be coincidence, but I picked up three 10K eggs yesterday.

I'm in. I was sick most of December and stopped checking in. My daily walks were much shorter, too. I'm not beating myself up - just reminding myself to be flexible. I also did better tracking food for the month of December, even with cookie breaks at work for two weeks (I just guessed 100 calories a cookie).

When I installed updates yesterday, it changed my buddy candy walk requirement from 3K to 1K for Pikachu. I like the new totals displayed on the buddy screen - total candy and distance walked with your buddy.

I just made level 26 this afternoon. I work on a large university campus so there are LOTS of Poke stops and Pokémon to catch. Also lots of gyms. I take a long walk at lunchtime each day. I've been more of a collector but my son taught me how gym battles work last weekend. That's kind of fun!

I caught some in Key Largo, Florida. Not a lot - it was mostly psyducks, Magikarp, and tentacruel.

rileysowner - my son tells me Ditto was not just for the Thanksgiving bonus and it hides as pidgies, weedles, and zubats. I've caught one but he hasn't. We are in a busy Pokémon town, though. Broomstick_Boo - is Majikarp your buddy?

I'm level 25 with Voltorb as my buddy. I got in over 10,000 steps playing with my grown son this morning after breakfast. We only drove to one place because my battery needed to recharge but we took four gyms and I got my medal for 2000 pokestops!

My goal: 10,000 steps Monday - Friday, 7,000 steps weekends.
