Nope. I work a minimum of 50 hours a week - 10 hour days, 5 days a week, plus one or two Saturdays a month, as well. I see my children for about half an hour in the morning before I go to work; when I get home, I see my younger one for half an hour to an hour before he goes to bed; I get about two hours with my older ones…

Thrift/consignment stores.

So that's your strategy.....

Well, I'm a grad student, and a bit older than y'all, but I've been doing this for a while. Feel free to add me if you'd like.

Do the macros not matter if the foods are not healthy or clean?
-
Varies. State law here in Oklahoma provides free breakfast to every child in elementary school. They come to school in the morning, they all have breakfast. It's possible to get reduced price lunches by income need.

New goal: talk about unicorns in my dissertation. That actually helps smooth out a few pages.

Google the container amounts and volumes, so you don't waste money on overpriced Tupperware. I had no use whatsoever for the overly restrictive foods list. That said, it helped get me to eat more nutrient-dense foods. It also helped me learn how to fit in things like chocolate cake (real chocolate cake, not some 21DF…

Yes, if someone eats above their maintenance calories. Doesn't matter if it's whole foods or foods cut into tiny bites: calories above and beyond maintenance will lead to weight gain.

Except it's not. Our brains do not get hooked. And people with BED will absolutely binge on broccoli
-
What you two have described are binges. That is not the same as Binge Eating Disorder.
-
Your first sentence was correct. The rest of it had no relevance to Binge Eating Disorder (and much of is scientifically inaccurate).

Does wormwood count as a fruit or a vegetable?
-
If your n=1 experience is not typical, why would you "like for everyone not to use them"? Your conclusion does not follow.

I try to be language-neutral to the point where I don't even frame gluten as "bad for me", just a substance to which I am very intolerant. I have had Shakeology marketed in my direction by BB coaches as being gluten-free; I am sure that's a selling point for the people who are allergic to the idea of gluten being in things…

My husband toasts oats in the oven, then mixes them with dried fruit and honey, spreads that out on a baking sheet, and bakes it for a bit. It's going to depend on your stance on honey: sure, it's an added sweetener; in this context, it helps stick everything together; without it, you'd have flakes and friluit.

I am very gluten intolerant - it puts me in the ER. I realize it's just fine for most people; I am not one of them. I find it ironic that I can get a GF product for significantly less than a non-GF product.

Sugar addiction is not a thing; even if it was, artificial sweeteners would not perpetuate the addiction, as the chemicals are completely different. Also, their, not there.

Wait 'til Friday...

At 140 calories, it is also not a meal replacement. Additionally, a bowl of oatmeal, a banana, and a hard-boiled egg costs right around $1, so much less than that shake. Heck, I could add a certified gluten-free protein shake to that and come out at less than $2; not only is Shakeology twice as expensive, but it has the…

Or just order a small order of fries..... Moderation, and all that....
-
A small order of French fries from Burger King (fast food restaurant) is 3.1oz (86g), and has 234 calories. Unless someone is following a very, very, very low calorie diet, that's nowhere near half the daily amount of calories. Additionally, white potatoes are a good source of potassium. Try again.

Pfft. I'm good with statistics; completely different; I still count on my fingers if I have to do math. That said, I have an abacus on the shelves in my office that I'm pretty sure could handle this one.

Thermal effect of foods is negligible at best. The rest of your statement is false, if for no other reason than there is no standard definition of "real, whole, unprocessed clean food".

Oh hai :)

Please provide nutritional information to support your claim.

Really? This guy http://www.businessinsider.com/how-to-lose-weight-eating-only-mcdonalds-2015-10 lost 60lbs and had saw an improvement in his blood work. Not all fast food is nutritionally empty.

When people take an appetite suppressant, they frequently go back to eating the way they did before once they stop taking the pills. That's why so many people here caution against them; they've either seen, or experienced first-hand, the negatives that go with them. The negativity comes from real-world experience, not…

Food. Dinner tonight was ham, potatoes au gratin, and green beans with sun dried tomatoes. Dessert was Nutella, because we did not end up having some cake I thought we were going to have. Granted, I had a spinach salad with a side of kale for lunch, but by G*d, I made sure I had room in my calories for dessert tonight.
