I'm satisfied on 40/30/30-ish. Some days the 40 is carbs, some days it's protein, some days it's fat.

Are you weighing what you eat, in grams, and logging that, every day?
-
... Why?...
-
Can you provide something more convincing than "I think"?
-
Truth.

I'm not trying to be condescending; taken as a whole, what you're doing is unhealthy. You're nit trying to restrict your calories, but you're taking four pills of a stimulant/appetite suppressant; gee, I wonder why you're not hungry? (Now that was condescending.) When you taking excessive doses of an OTC stimulant so you…

The severe calorie restriction + diet pills + over-exercise are all symptoms of a real problem. Stop taking the pills, back off on the exercise, and consider the idea that it's time to find a counselor, or a dietician, or both.

I would think that permanent weight loss would be better than temporary weight loss. Besides, if OP gets weighed in a negligee tomorrow and gains weight instead of losing, what is she supposed to do next week?
-
There's no probably about it; you are overdoing it, especially with your history of eating disorders. When was the last time you checked in with your treatment team?

What's a yonk?

Weight is an awkward thing to talk about; people may not comment, even though they notice. What I have found more helpful is when I notice a difference.

These are good ideas. You could also post the recipe, and some of us might be able to give you suggestions. You could also have one, and do a veggie salsa on top of salad for a side instead of the other enchilada, and/or a side of refried beans.

Dove brand chocolate is GF, I believe. Beans. Curry. (Lots, but not all, Indian food is GF.) Instead of a bun/roll, make a lettuce wrap when you have hamburgers. There are some decent recipes out there for cauliflower pizza crusts; many commercial pizza places also offer GF pizza crusts (this will depend on the severity of…

No such thing. OP, time to bust out the food scale and be meticulous with logging your food.

Ah, Red Robin. C'est delicious. One thing you may want to do in the future is look at the nutrition info on a place before you go, that way you can make a more informed decision. Not saying that you wouldn't have still chosen the Bar Wings - sometimes, you want what you want, and that's all there is to it - but sometimes…

So eat something else?

This! EOS brand lip balm is GF; I don't like the way they fit in my pocket, personally, so I made my own lip balm last year.

I challenge your statement with the 100lbs I have lost, and a pint of ice cream.

Lots of us have graduate degrees in science fields. We can handle the technical terms.

Lettuce wrap instead of a bun.

Honesty. Accountability. Learning from one's mistakes. Seeing if there's a pattern that might lead to figuring out if something specific triggers a binge (i.e., too much restricting). But mostly honesty and learning to keep going.

You don't need a special "diet" like Atkins or Paleo if you have celiac. Like everyone else who needs to lose weight, you just need to eat fewer calories than you'd need to maintain your current weight. I tend to avoid GF substitutes (I.e., GF bread) except as a treat. Eggs and fruit are good for breakfast. Salads or…

Pro tip: check your math before you insult people. Signed, the PhD candidate with two Master's degrees, who publishes regularly as a statistical analyst. Regards, ClosetBayesian

Be meticulous in your logging. Calories is what matters most for weight loss. What type of surgery? Depending on the surgery, you might even consider eating at maintenance until you recover.

Adderall is a godsend for me; I am close to nonfunctional without it. It helps me consciously think about.... well, everything, including what I eat.
-
This. I've had a glass of wine every night for the past two weeks. No guilt. I fit it into my calories for the day. I still lose weight.

No. For starters, muscle is more dense than fat, but a pound of muscle weighs exactly the same as a pound of fat. Additionally, it is highly unlikely that yoga, hand weights, and walking are causing enough muscle gains to cause weight loss to stall. Building that amount of muscle takes time and heavy lifting.

No, we are not just lucky. We work just as hard as everyone else, and we have our temptations, and there are days we struggle. It's not easy, for anyone. I am one of those people who woke up one day and decided to do this. I had just had my first child, and I was morbidly obese. Got down from morbidly obese to just…

Some things really are unhealthy. Misusing laxatives, for example, is unhealthy. Additionally, if your problem is with sodium, laxatives aren't going to help. ACV does nothing - I repeat, nothing - to "detox" when ingested before meals (or after meals). Most of us either are or were on your same journey. Using laxatives…
