I understand as b4 eating healthier I ate mindlessly. Now that I'm conscious of exactly what I eat & log it I too have times when I haven't eaten enough. I either eat cottage cheese with friut, unsalted almonds, protein bar or ice cream u can try 1-2 tbs peanut butter too

Thanks for making me laugh I'm drowning in paperwork at this minute and really needed it lol

I IF for 14-16 just about everyday. Nothing wrong with it. I'm not hungry & like having my calories later in the evening. I drink water and 2 cups of coffee & about now, 12p, I start feeling hungry. I either skip breakfast totally or have breakfast and then for lunch I eat a yogurt and then dinner is at 6ish so I'm happy.…

I found that drinking too often did definitely hinder my weight loss I now drink 2 - 4 days a month and when I do I normally go over on those days and I quit beating myself up over it. I log it, own it and get back on track the next day. In 4 months I'm down 38 lbs. & I'm happy. I'm losing stead & still have what I want on…

1 penny more but 5 lbs on my thighs lol. I try to do this too & wind up only eating half as it's just too expensive & just isn't worth it, doesn't taste as good as I thought it would. keep you some unsalted almonds &/or a really high protein fiber bar to keep handy that way you have something to snack on if you feel that…

What an awesome idea! I'm going to try to figure out how to put this in my daily log - as someone else mentioned my drawback is I work out at the gym (cardio & weights) 4-5 days a week so I have to make sure I get enough calories that I don't feel the effects of "banking". This is why I read these community postings, such…

Got to find that scale, I have one I keep on counter but a portable one!? Oh yea. For me what's helped the most is MFP community threads. I've learned so much to help me in my journey to be healthier, more fit & eating better.

Same here 7p-8p, as I tend to fix family's dinner then mine. I also IF for 14-16 hours just because I'm not hungry until 11-12. Coffee is enough with decreased SF creamer. Down to 1 Tbs now, just can't do black yet. If I haven't reached my daily calorie goal then I'll have 2 SF pudding pops (80 cals), serving of unsalted…

Read, read, read and educate yourself. I have learned so much from all of the MFP community postings (and if I didn't understand it I googled it, LOL). My favorite categories: getting started, exercise & fitness and general weight loss. Thank you to everyone who has asked questions and those who responded. You have helped…

Welcome Anandi. Best advice I can give you is read MFP threads. I read Getting started, general weight-loss questions & exercise/fitness throughout my day. I've learned so much & everyone is so helpful. Good luck on your weight loss journey :)

While I agree with the CICO to loss weight I can tell you from my personal journey I wouldn't look or feel like I do without exercising. Started 225 lbs, size 18. I'm down 37 lbs in 4 months, currently 187 lbs & just about in a size 12, woohoo! Have been going to a gym 4-5 days a week doing 30 minutes of cardio & lifting…
