Some people hold more water weight than others and it fluctuates. My hubby and oldest daughter are this way. If they restrict calories, bam, they'll lose 4-5 pounds in a week(mostly water) and I'll lose 1 1/2 total. Also, keep in mind this can change by how much you've eaten and salt like you mentioned.

Fairlife milk has no lactose and higher protein and is available at Walmart. My daughter is lactose intolerant...if u truly are it is the lactose that bothers you. It gives her stomach pain and sometimes diarrhea. We haven't tried fair life yet, but she really likes cashew dream and the ' so delicious' coconut milk…

I hear you. I like to snack and watch tv too. It's like a comfort thing. It took me a while to really REALLY want to change, and it's still hard but I've reached the point where I want to shed the pounds more. That's when the lower cal options come into play. I measure and log what I eat and then go have a munch fest and…

Exercise is good at relieving stress, even if you can just manage a 20 minute walk. Stop buying the junk food and replace it with low calorie things to munch on when you can't stop thinking about food- like popcorn, cheese strings, fruit, jello, yogurt, and low cal snacks :)

Thanks wrenak!

Thank you queenliz, I wasn't aware I could do that. Don't know how I missed it!

Thanks Abby! I ate more than normal and didn't pay close attention because I was in an 'I'm tired of dieting' slump. Most of it was water weight, but I did gain at least half a pound or so. I just need to keep logging things when I take a break. How did you come up with 1900? I need to learn the formula :)

Have you tried low cal popcorn when you feel the urge to eat? When I get stressed, it's like I crave that hand to mouth comforting action. I whip up some popcorn in my air popper, spray on some 'I Can't Believe it's Not Butter' and add salt. Good stuff!

Planning a menu for the week and rarely buying the foods I know I'll have major trouble going overboard with(mainly ice cream).

I tried it and found it too restrictive. I didn't lose weight any better either. Some people love it, but you can't be a lover of variety and do it long term IMO.

I'm not one hundred percent sure, but I think that can also be caused by gallbladder trouble. I would visit your doctor.

I think you've gotten some good advice here, but one very important thing you need to keep in mind when starting a new diet (food map) is that it takes two weeks for any irritating food to get out of your system. For example, when my daughter was little she was having constant diarrhea. Found out she was lactose intolerant…

I just allow myself to have enough calories to do some snacking before bed. I don't have to feel full, just not hungry. Light or air popped Popcorn is good and so is a mini babybel cheese. Do you like Greek yogurt with low sugar jam? I also like guacamole with chips, but I only get one serving of chips. Anything with…

Congrats! That is beyond awesome!!

Coolcoci, you have the exact same height and starting weight as me. What I've found is even eating out for one meal makes a difference on the scale that week unless I've eaten out and managed to stay in my calorie range which is hard. It really stinks how just one day of overheating can derail things :( I'm eating 1350 cal…

Harlee, Reading Dr. Sarno's book The Mindbody Prescription and putting the principles therein to practice helped me the most. I am now 80% free of pain. CICO helps as well. I'm losing about a pound a week at 1350 calories. Good luck :)
