  • So exciting - congrats on the engagement and weight loss so far!
  • This is exactly how I feel - I seem to have yo yo'd within the same 20lb throughout the last couple of years and I'm just trying to stay at the lower end of this (around 9st 7) for my wedding. I'm generally active and fit but seemed to have let it slip recently - probably too much celebrating our engagement!! Thanks so…
  • Thanks - I'm actually at the top end of "healthy" under the NHS guidelines for my height and age, etc. and exercise regularly but for my special day I want to feel the best I can
  • Thank you, I'll definitely have a look through! ☺️
  • Sorry everyone I didn't actually make it clear that whilst I'm losing weight, my reason for changing my diet is purely personal beliefs regarding animals and animal welfare. Also, I understand the differences between different types of diets and the definitions to me frankly aren't that important. Thank you for all the…
  • Hi! :) I'm looking for new friends who are making lifestyle changes rather than quick weight loss - I have an open diary and love supporting others! Feel free to add me :)
  • I'm 5ft 5in and aiming for around 130lbs, although I suppose when I get there I might push for a few extra pounds. I'm learning not to rush also, earlier this year I lost just over a stone and although I loved how I felt afterwards, I found that I was constantly hungry from eating a tiny amount of calories. This time is…
  • Hi I would like to join please :) I've lost 16lbs, got 15 to go. I spin between two and four times a week depending on work and also train weights up to three times a week. Looking forward to making friends on here and we lose weight together, please feel free (anyone) to add me as a friend!
  • I'm in the UK. I have my diary open so anyone feel free to add me :)
  • I'm glad you've started this thread, I will have had mine for four years in a couple of months and so only a year maximum with it left. It's a shame you've had those symptoms for so long, hopefully you'll be feeling better soon with it out! I've heard it can take up to 12 months for periods, weight, etc to return to normal…
  • I tried the whole slender blend package for a few weeks and if I'm honest I seemed to get stomach ache after each shake, I had them with water so did see a difference in my weight but stopped after a while as I felt rubbish all of the time. Lots of my friends buy it regularly and really enjoy using the protein as well as…
  • I never miss a Monday workout, even if I only do a small workout, I never miss a Monday. I always think the week is more positive when I start it well. Love the film idea, I think I'll be adopting that one and hopefully burning lots and lots of calories at the gym! Love this thread :)
  • Hi everyone :) Feel free to add me, I have an open food diary. Got 15 pounds to go and love finding support on here!
  • Tbh I just want some definition in my abs and strength in my top half but I'm not overly fussed about a lot of definition in my arms, etc. I just want to be able to continue losing my fat and ensure I'm not just tiny when I get to goal, so I want to start training so when I lose fat I'll have a little definition!
  • You are so lucky, I think half the battle is going into the weights room the first time in front of all the experienced people! Thank you everyone for the advice, I'm going to have a look at all of the programmes you've recommended and find one that will suit me (fingers crossed)!
  • I want to become more toned and I think I'd train after spinning plus one day so either four or five times a week :)
  • Thanks everyone, this means I'm going to have to brave the weight machines!
  • I'm 19 (almost 20) and would love support from people in my age range! Feel free to add me - that goes for everyone :) My aim is to lose around 14lbs and I'm focusing on increasing my exercise at the moment.
  • I started spinning around 5 months ago and I'm hooked! I go between 3-4 times a week and unlike previous cardio I haven't suffered with shin splints or any other issues so far. In terms of weight loss I have benefitted quite dramatically and even now so close to my goal weight my body is changing due to spinning,…
  • Hi! I'm exactly the same, wanting to lose around 20lbs for my holiday in June. I'm wanting support as I seem to easily fall off the wagon at the moment, I'll add you guys if that's okay?
