You just told me you weren't mis-measuring, but now you say you are. You are eating more than you think you are or you have a metabolic disorder. If that's the case, you should be seeing a doctor rather than seeking advice on the Internet.

I don't think he is undereating. I think he is mis-measuring.

Another thing I do that helps w/ time saving is I do most of my grocery shopping online. If this is a possibility for you @AprilRN10 , I highly recommend it. I work on my order throughout the week based on what's on sale and what meals I want to make, and schedule it for pick up on my way home from work one day.

I keep my phone in my running pants, my watch is waterproof, and I don't typically run with headphones (when I do they are wireless) so not a big selling point for me either.

I would second refeeds. I try to do them purposefully, but due to TOM, sometimes they just sneak up and I I'm like, "Welp, we're having a refeed weekend." It does help, though, having a time during the month where you can feel full again instead of that constant, nagging hunger. I seemed to be able to power through hunger…

A media compatible jacket will usually have some kind of special pocket designed to keep electronics dry, and possible a place for a cord to snake in/out for headphones.

You're eating more than you think you are. Reset your goal to maintain. Eat to that calorie goal, including any purposeful exercise you do. Weigh on a food scale every single morsel you put in your mouth. Wait two weeks. Adjust your loss rate to 1lb per week and eat to your calorie goal (not under eat) including calories…

^^^^^ This. Before adding or changing exercise, make sure your logging is accurate.

@AprilRN10 @BruinsGal_91 I don't know that my daughter would survive college without that meal. It's cheap, easy, and gluten free.

I feel you and wish I knew the answer. I've been fighting 10lbs for a year for that reason (after losing 100lbs)! I'm a runner and so I'm constantly balancing the rungry with the last few lbs I'd like to drop.

Oct 1 - REST (planned) Oct 2 - REST (ummm, unplanned) I'm nursing a very sore groin. Still trying to decide if it's just a muscle pull that will ease up over the next few days or if I went full-janky and have a labral tear or something. You know, all the things an anxious runner thinks about when they can't run. I did take…

On busy-mom meal prep: Planning and my slow cooker save my *kitten*. That's not to say we don't eat on the go at times, but if I can get a soup or stew in the slow cooker with enough for leftovers to carry into lunches (or another dinner), then that's what I do. Baked potatoes are another go-to for us. It's easy to round…

^^^^^^ All of this x10. If she has a foot injury, take her to a podiatrist or orthopedic specialist. There's a gazillion things to try before making a healthy-weight teen girl who is still growing have to diet. If YOU don't like how your daughter looks at a healthy weight (eg 'could stand to lose a few kgs), you should…

I wear spikey things I attach to my shoes that I found at Costco. When there's packed snow or icy roads, I will wear them. Sometimes the pavement clears up, so I take them off (or put them on again, as needed). They definitely help keep me confident. I only had to use them a handful of days in CO last winter. My "warmest"…

1) With holiday's coming up and the return of cooler or warmer weather. What's your strategy mitigating the particular challenges you face these last few months of the year? I'm signed up for a 50k in November and training has been HARD. I love the onset of cooler weather, but also worry that freak snowstorms will make it…
-
After several months hiatus from this thread, I'm back to keep motivated for my 50k training. The miles are getting longer, the runs are getting harder, and I just need people who understand. :) My goal for October is to meet my training plan goals, which will include a run of up to 25 miles!

We call it Whole Paycheck.

Does that work? I never thought to do that, but omg...is that good? I would totally eat that.
-
Also not a fan of overnight oats. I make large batches of steel cut oats in my instant pot and flavor it how I like it. I can still grab/go/heat oats for breakfast and I enjoy eating it.

I tend to trust them, more or less. We eat out a lot so I have to rely on the posted information. So far I've done well as I've lost 100lbs and kept it off for a year.

I'd vote for walking or couch 2 5k or you can also just run slower. Run slow enough to be able to carry a conversation. See how long you can do that.
-
Do you enjoy running?

I've been on both sides of this coin. At my heaviest, I couldn't imagine not filling my plate with a bunch of potluck goodies. I didn't understand after first joining MFP that someone could just have Greek yogurt and fruit for lunch. That's not a meal--that's an appetizer! People don't tend to comment on what I eat any…

I'm IF about 6 days of the week. I would say it's slowed things down a little, but when it does happen...it HAPPENS...not in a hard-to-go-constipated way, though. I vote for the following:* Take something like Miralax for some reliable relief (could be a few hours to 1 day) * See a doctor if it persists

Plz see yourself out. :D

I didn't need surgery because they proportionally got smaller with the rest of me. I wouldn't mind having them, um, lifted though! They aren't quite where I remember them being the last time I was this size (in HS). :D
-
Fun size candy is super annoying, unless you eat enough to make a full size treat. I'm never quite satisfied with the fun sizes and so I tend to avoid fun sizes and instead plan for a full size.

Nothing wrong at all with slow weight loss!

Definitely work with an ED treatment specialist.
