Still not where I wanted to be by this time with my weight, but have had some good weeks of logging. Even kept myself from binging yesterday, which was good. Was a little disappointed over the weekend--I had banked a bunch of calories for a meal out at a southern-style restaurant--mac n cheese and beignets. I've been there…

I ate a lot more than my body needed to maintain a healthy weight. An obscene amount more than I needed.

1. Meal prep and planning 2. Sleep

As long as you are in a calorie deficit over time, when you eat is largely irrelevant. If you're able to accomplish this without having to log/track/weigh/measure your food portions, then more power to you. It's not an approach that works for me because I am always hungry and ready to eat! ETA: As another poster mentioned,…

I don't make my own often, but when I do, I use recipes from glutenfreeonashoestring.com. I use a lot of baking recipes from there. The pie crust is divine and so are the cream puffs. The bread is too labor intensive for me, but if you really want to pinch pennies, that's the way to go.

If you want to figure out what foods work best for you, it might be a good idea. If you want to focus on weight loss, it's not really designed to do that. You don't need to cut out foods or food groups to lose weight.

I think our periods were just mansplained to us.

25lbs per month is pretty aggressive unless you are extremely, extremely obese. Most of us who have lost a lot started here: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1080242/a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants/p1.

I have enough to do managing my own weight to worry about anyone else losing weight!

You pretty much described my world. It took about a year and a half for my hubby to start coming around and realize that the secret was CICO and not dry, boring chicken and vegetables. He still doesn't measure like I do and doesn't lose as consistently as I do, but he has made so e headway and somewhat seen the light of…

@shanaber Guac with mayo would be an abomination! The pie is so good. I just ordered some GSC. I got one box of Samoas and one box of Trefoils for myself. Everything else is for other people! Hopefully I can stretch those boxes out, but more than likely, I'll be eating a whole box of Samoas for lunch on Saturday.

I had my IUD removed for overeating purposes, also. I was out of control ravenous!

Had my in-laws over for the Super Bowl and my son's birthday. They bought guac..like a serving bowl full of it and pretty sure I ate 75% of it. And also pie. Boy kid likes pie more than cake, so I got him a chocolate cherry cream pie on Oreo crust from Village Inn. All three slices were delicious. Sigh.

I forgot how fast this thread moves! 02/01 - REST 02/02 - 10 02/03 - CX Les Mills The Trip (Spin Bike) 02/04 - CX Les Mills GRIT Strength 02/05 - 6 I misjudged the cold this morning and almost got frostbite. I promptly ordered some better wind tights to run in and can do better layering up top. That was highly unpleasant!

I don't buy cereal because I will Eat. The. Whole. Box.

After losing 100lbs, but still being shy of my ultimate goal weight for months now (a year actually), I have to remember that being *slightly* in the overweight category, but having an active, healthy lifestyle is still better than being 100lbs overweight. I would love to drop this last 10-15lbs forever, and I think I'll…

WOOHOO!!! I'm in for Feb! No mileage goal except for to stay on plan and avoid injury. I've been rehabbing like heck since September when I tore my labrum and I am finally cleared to train again! I'm limited to running 3x per week, but that has opened up an excellent world of cross-training for me. Also, I was selected to…

Just truckin' along here. My long run on Saturday, which was mostly a 10 mile hike post holing, earned me 1200 calories which turned into fettucine alfredo with breaded chicken for dinner. Slow and steady weekly losses of around .5 to 1lb a week which is what I'm aiming for. I've been nailing my workouts and even tried the…

Sometimes I ate drive-thru fast food for three meals a day, super sized, with regular soda. Plus a few more Pepsi 20oz throughout the day. Candy bars and chips whenever I wanted. I would eat healthy foods, too, just so many calories.

I would probably make a big *kitten* DIY charcuterie plate of fresh fruits, veggies, crackers, cheese, olives and maybe some grilled chicken strpis or something. You could also go with a big-*kitten* salad with a low cal dressing.

Don't weigh yourself under different circumstances and expect the same results.

MITTENS! I've yet to find gloves that actually keep my hands warm. I like ones with a flap so I can open/close them because they kind of heat/cool throughout the run a few times.

YESSSS. My mom's fried potatoes are still my favorite food of all time. I can't ever make them exactly like she did! It's been a LONG time!

Not being able to run is agonizing. I was pretty much out of commission from any kind of meaningful exercise from October through most of December. Everything seemed pointless...diet, bleh. It all just sucked and I was sad. The fog lifts and it's glorious to reintroduce running. I'm kind of at a place where I am in…

I do a lot of side plank clams. Banded bird-dogs. Fire-hydrant stuff. Band walks. I have issues with glute activation, so all of these help me tremendously.

I have nothing to offer other than your abs are amazing in your profile picture. <3

I tried an IP recipe for pork spareribs. That's a no-go for me. It cooked them, but not to the result I wanted. On the other hand, I whip up a mushroom/chicken/spinach risotto in the IP that is TO DIE FOR. So much that I made it and served it at Christmas dinner. I'm busy AF and the IP helps me make amazing food that my…

Yep. This. I've yet to have mush anything.

I'm the same way. I generally stay away from cereal and granola because I can't quite limit myself there. Moderation of those items just doesn't work from me. Potato chips are up in that category too (although corn chips I can easily manage). The only way I've found to beat it is to not keep those foods in the house. Just…
