  • You've lost 75 lbs! That's freaking amazing. Look at you before and afters when your feeling bummed about the lack of dresss change size. I'm sure you look smokin!
  • Hoping I can keep up the weight loss! What inspired me to lose weight is a trip we booked for September to Hawaii. I want to be able to hike and keep up with my kids on the beach. I know my little boy is going to be heavy by then and carrying him in the ergo is going to be a challenge.
  • Thanks for the input. My baby is 5 months so no solids yet. I don't add in the breastfeeding. I'm currently eating 1900-2100 cals/ day. Baby seems chubby and happy as usual. I love that breastfeeding burns so many calories. It's the easiest work out there is. I lay in bed and lose weight. Haha
  • I set my goal to my pre wedding and baby weight. Since I got married I've had 2 kids and gained 40 lbs. I broke that goal into 2 goals. First, being pre baby number 2 weight. Then goal is pre baby number 1 weight (wedding weight). Once I get there my goal will to be get out of the "overweight" BMI. I'm currently "obese".
  • I would set it to maintain but that gives me like 2600 cals or something. That's a lot! I could see a dietitian. It's covered. I just don't want someone on my case. I already have my doctor making me feel bad. Ya know?
  • Does mfp suggest 1400-1700 cals? I don't get why they give me so many. I put lightly active as my activity. I'm 5ft 7 and considered obese already. As much as I hate that word it's true. I wore a size 14 before pregnancy but I guess that's obese.

  • Looking for friends too. I just started yesterday. I have a few goals. The first is to lose the left over weight from pregnancy (25.9lb) and then I'll make a new goal. To have a normal bmi I would need to lose a total of about 75 lbs.
  • If they call you a fatass they're probably a miserable piece of *kitten*. When I see people riding a bike when they're overweight I am motivated by them. I'm happy for them! I'm not quite 250 but not far off. I should ride my bike more but I don't... Exercise is hard for me to commit to.
  • I just got this app yesterday and noticed the message board feature today. I'm in nor cal myself. I'm trying to lose the weight I have left over from pregnancy. I have 25.9 lbs to go. Then I'll make a new goal! Are you still boxing?
  • I'm angry I'm so unhealthy. My back problems have gotten so bad and that is my motivator. I need to lose weight so I can function and be a good mom. I want to feel good about myself. I want to want to take pictures with my kids. I want to wear shorts on a hot day without second guessing myself. I'm mad it affects my life…
