I do elliptical. I have bad knees so running is out anyway. While on the elliptical, I watch Netflix on my tablet so it doesn't seem as boring. If your knees are good, go find a sport that gets you running around. Soccer and basketball are very cardio oriented.

I am right with you Andy, most of the people around me are pretty fit and I don't necessarily feel that they are judging but I definitely feel like they just don't understand. I topped out at 304 and that was the breaking point. Since June, I have lost 17 pounds but I feel like I am doing it all on my own.
