Good- bagged salad, puffed wheat and puffed rice. Basically water, air, and fiber. Not so good- food toppings like sauces and jellies. Weigh and measure everything! Granola. Tiny servings not worth it.

Same. Not from quitting. But fear of "what if I actually reach goal", letting other people's nonsense get in the way of my goals, not getting my deficit right, and trying other plans that just didn't work. Time to regroup and focus.

Can't the same be said about this plan? How many members eat cookies, desserts, pizza, wine, etc, almost daily, count calories for it, and still lose weight? As for how Oprah looks, she has always looked like that. She lost weight slowly. No dramatic weight loss for her since she signed on with WW. Doesn't mean that she…

Thanks so much, your words mean a lot <3

In what is probably my last WW meeting today, the leader said the zero points system does not allow for the inclusion of essential and good fats and essential and good carbs. Those require a points hit. But everyone seems to be bent on eating zero points total or zero points then saving the rest for treats.

What you are saying makes perfect sense. I'm not afraid of losing weight per say or even success of reaching my goal. I know my healthy weight is in the 120s. As of now Im pushing 150. I love looking modestly feminine . I love dresses, heels, makeup, wearing my hair long. But there are several issues at hand. One is that…

Friends help me because the fact that they will see my diary keeps me on the straight and narrow. A lot less 3000+ calorie days that way. Likes are encouraging. The advice is encouraging. I'm learning a lot from them and from the forums (transitioning from WW). I get meal ideas from open diaries also.

Glad I finally looked at this thread. I've been trying to get creative with stretching my meals now that I'm moving lower in calories. Thanks to all contributors.

Tajin or Trader Joe's chili lime seasoning. Crazy Mixed Up Salt and Pepper. Mrs. Dash. Old Bay seasoning. Frank's Red Hot sauce. Sriracha. I've heard Slap Yo Mama Cajun seasoning is good, but I haven't tried it yet.

Millionaire Hoy- great hiit workouts and monthly rotations.

My sentiments exactly. Lessons I've learned on WW,which led me to lose 70 lbs and keep it off, I still use while applying the knowledge I've learned here. I've found a happy middle ground and wish people would respect that.

I try on last season's most fitted clothes often as a guide. My goals is to make sure they still fit or are looser.
-
I'm 41, 5'3", 147lbs. I'm usually on the lower end too. I find I get a higher burn on workouts I am more familiar with because my movements are more fluid, so I get more reps in and less time figuring out what they're doing.

Pre-diabetes. My doctor telling me to glue my lips shut or gain another 40 lbs and get surgery. The only clothes I could fit were my 6'3" 260 lb husband's clothes. My parents and friends thinking I was hiding a pregnancy. Everyone telling me what a *kitten* I became since I gained weight... and me realizing they were right.

Just because "they" say you don't have to doesn't mean you don't have to. I would continue to weigh and measure because portion control. :/

I remember you from the Freestyle thread. I understand that switching from WW to MFP involves a new way of counting, tracking, measuring, and looking at food. I was there. It's an adjustment. But in making that adjustment do you feel overloaded with info, and are therefore hesitant to trust a "new" process? Trust me and…

I find less user entries, although they can be created, on Lose It. Plus you don't have to look for entries in grams. Enter the food and you are given the option of logging it in ounces, grams, cups, etc. by toggling through them. Only thing I don't like is you can't sync Fitbit anymore.

Roasted delicata or butternut squash Any roasted veggie and a side salad.
