I didn't do the mashed potatoes. A pile of Ritz, saltines, or Cheezits, oh yes!

This stuff. And pork rinds, Funnyuns, Raisin cream pies, oatmeal cream pies, commissary cookies, and greasy Drakes or Hostess fruit pies. Unfortunately they followed me into adulthood.

I agree. Necessity, what was on sale, what was available, what my allowance could afford me. I know a few delicacies were products of my Dad's experiences both growing up and serving in wartime. I didn't complain. It just was what it was.

Back with bread.... toast pizza. Spaghetti sauce, cheese slices, and lunch meat on toast grilled under the toaster oven. Ramen with Ritz crackers and fifty cent juices or sodas. Jamaican beef patties. Even with the little chunks of gristle. I actually think pot pies are pretty good. They're my sick day food.

My dad used to cook hash until it had a crispy coating you could cut with knife. Then slather it with ketchup. Now that's strictly a nostalgic craving food, every other year or so.

Bread and butter with spaghetti here too! Rice cereal: hot white rice loaded with condensed milk, butter and sugar. My neighbors used to give me grape jelly and American cheese on white bread sandwiches. Fried spam, bologna, or Vienna sausages. Park's pork roll sausage sandwiches where the meat was so greasy the bread…

398 calories for 52 minutes low impact kickboxing so far as per HR Charge. Will screenshot PM workout if necessary.

That's great! Could you post your story with more information about how you did it in the Success Stories forum? More people would see your story that way. :)

After playing with the numbers I have a better picture. I'm pretty much at the basement when it comes to calories thanks to height, age, and not much weight left to lose. A little more patience and reigning in indulgences is needed. Thank you.

I'm sorry. I am extremely confused by this. I don't want to derail this thread. Thanks.

When people say not eating over maintenance does that include the addition of exercise calories? Sometimes when I add my exercise calories back in I am over maintenance. Way over. 1360= .5 loss 1500 to 1600ish= maintenance Adding in exercise calories can range from 1700 to over 2000 depending on the day.

Tap woo again. It removes it. Found this out by accident. I'm quite guilty of this too.

Meal prep, kids meals, single serving size snacks. Having a plan allows me to fit in the other two. The other two give me just enough to be satisfied and stay within my plan.

I do this. I pre log my meals for the day. I usually come out over points but way under calories because of the points penalty for fats and sugar. I am currently one point over my 23 but at only 900 calories. Yesterday I stayed within points but was over calories (1700) because of the zero point foods. Proof that zero is…

It will also show up twice on your Fitbit if you log in both places. Plus if you have your desired deficit planned into the Fitbit there will be a conflict. I can be under daily calories in MFP but over according to the Fitbit at any time of day depending on how active I am.

That just broke my heart. Love curried soups. :'(

If I miss a workout I just compensate with a little more taking the stairs, walking the bus route if time allows, extra chores. Or fit in a 15 to 20 minute YouTube video and call it good enough. No guilt. I used to be obsessive about exercise to the point of it crowding out the important things. Just not worth what I could…

To beat my family history of heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes. I just found out several relatives have been in and out of hospitals with shunts, bypass surgery, and one is waiting for a transplant, all due to obesity. One passed away at 52 from heart problems. I want to feel good about myself. Even though no…

This is where you may consider a recomp- adding muscle (therefore firming up and looking slimmer) while eating at your maintenance calorie level. There is more about this on the Maintenance board.

I have it. I posted about it in a recent Double Belly/ B Belly thread. I had 2 kids, a 70 lb weight loss resulting in loose skin (20 to 25 lbs to go), and an umbilical and ventral hernia repair. Not saying you have these issues, but I have a lot of issues contributing to mine.

Great info here. I use the info to help me endure hip and knee pain. I shorten my stride and increase my steps to keep pace or until the pain fades. Also to take the focus off of how long I have to go, I make promises with myself to run until a certain song on my playlist, and repeat until I'm done.

Yes it does but it doesn't stop people from doing this stupidity.

I have the B belly. Bottom is ok but with thin loose skin. The top is a thicker layer of fat and loose skin which folds over my belly button and is kinda divided up the middle (imagine a cleft lip) by a hernia surgery scar. Fat loss will help with the thickness, but the surgeon who fixed the hernia said only a navel…

Something I just thought of re: phones. Yes some are reading or texting while working out and holding up machines. I see the annoyance in that. But I use an app (Jefit) to record my weights and as a rest timer between sets. So it looks like I'm texting between sets, but trust me I'm not. Just recording the workout. Others…

My coworker gave me a candy spoon made of honey and candied ginger for stirring tea. As you stir it melts into the tea. Basically stirring tea with a lollipop. No clue on calories.

I have my activity level set at sedentary bevause every day is different. Steps get counted in with exercise on my Fitbit.
