I like carrots and celery. What will not cross my lips is cabbage soup.;)

Are you on BP meds? I had dizzy from low blood pressure. After losing weight my BP dropped like a rock.

I dropped 40 pounds in 20 weeks and I couldn't see it. My DR'S nurse sure did! That's when I had no choice but to admit it.

It's great cooked in Oatmeal and a tablespoon of soy sauce. Add some cashews and a fried egg.
-
Not really. I use them both for different reasons. On wings I use Frank's and butter per the instructions. Try adding a squirt of Sirachi in with it! Yummy.
-
Day one? Had one of them. The next 570 are one at a time.

Chinese? UNICODE of course.

Hang out here. Read lots, understand more. It's just calorie counting but it works. DW and I each lost 55 pounds doing nothing but eating better and walking. We both lost 20+pounds before walking.

While in South Africa I picked up some biltong. On a lark I picked up some ostrich biltong at the cash register. As I tried it there was an interesting spice taste and I offered some to the driver. He accepted as I mentioned how flavorful it was. As he started chewing his, I was hit by an incredible horrid taste of rancid…

I go item at a time. You only eat a number of items. How many hundreds? They all tend to stay together in the recent foods.

Many things taste different. Salads I no longer use dressing maybe a little cheese or nuts. Along the same line ketchup is disgusting, haven't touched it in almost two years. Food by itself tastes great with a little seasoning. I especially love fresh vegetables on there own.
-
It does taste great on cooked cabbage.

A couple of vodka martinis sounds good for work.

Yes and it's useful. My bloodwork suggests too much saturated fat. Well my dairy suggested several tablespoons of heavy cream might be the problem.
-
Calories for weight loss. I learned macros and fats/carbs matter when I had my bloodwork done. Good thing is thanks to logging I have a great idea of the problem foods. Everything in moderation.
-
It doesn't and currently can't. Many foods contain both, ketchup for example, when the new food labels are common then you could. Except the database has to support it also. Those X millions of entries would need updated.

Last one cost me $1200 for a nice crown.

I was planning on bacon and eggs for breakfast and there's no bacon in the house! I think someone stole mine.

I love cabbage and eat it cooked or raw. Cabbage soup on the other hand I can't get it past my nose. When I was about 6 my grandmother died. We went to visit her elderly two sisters who lived together after the service. Their home reaked of cabbage soup,I smell that stuff and it brings me back to over 50 years ago in their…

I agree proper diet can help some disease, I no longer take PPIs for example. Probably not effective for quite a few diseases. I'm reminded that 99 years ago millions died all over the world from the flu.
-
I like that a lot. I had a rude awaking when I just had my bloodwork done. Yes macros matter!

Grains. That's how we measure nitro powder. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grain_(unit)

Salmon, roasted asparagus, Israel cous cous.

Yes I had a chair that worked just fine. It was a "cube" chair not a "office" chair. The chair police turned me in. Of all the things that Megacorp's do the chair police are about the silliest. I think the chair they gave me was about $1500. Whatever, it was not any better than the chair I was using.

I did the same at a large corporation. They don't have a choice with the proper medical documentation. Your Doc has probably done thousands of these. Getting up and moving can help. I know many office workers, me included, who have cervical spine degeneration. It's been suggested that lack of proper movement may be the…

I was fortunate to retire almost 4 years ago at age 56. I was done with the corporate world. It honestly took a couple of years to accept and start to enjoy. I had too much of my identity associated with my high pressure job. Now I have no idea how I had time to work. There's a great resource for people who are thinking…

I'll confess ice is not good for your teeth. I've heard the same as you've had checked out. Good luck.

That's funny.

Interesting. I need to look into that. Thanks.

A couple of grams. I was driving, no hospital for me. I'd been diagnosed before and knew what it was. It's a frightening experience.
