I'm s wine drinker. I do not log it but it's usually on my weekend where I eat freely and only log exercise and breakfast

I buy a lot on sale and with a price point in mind when I shop which is generally 1x a week. I buy frozen Birdseye steamers, eggs, low fat Greek yogurt-only ones with no artificial sweeteners, chickenpb, and canned boneless salmon. I eat popcorn as a snack and almonds. I'd have to say I spend 35 a week on myself and I…

Try Birdseye Steamers. They are inexpensive and come in a variety of veggies, pasta with veggies, rice with veggies, etc. You can add protein or just eat as is
-
I tsp PB, Oikos Triple Zero Greek Yogurt-one of a few with no artificial sweeteners, 3 eggs, 3 turkey sausage links-524 calories and 37 grams of protein. Holds me through until late dinner since I work mid-shift

Welcome to MFP. Sounds like you're on the right track already. Commitment and persistence was the hardest for me when I first started. Logging everything, exercise, and support are critical in this journey in my opinion. Please feel free to add me. Good luck and happy new year!!

Fitbit Charge HR is best in that price range

I'd stay away from GF bread or pasta is you are watching your carbs or sugars. These are just as unhealthy. I do gf during the week. There are so many delicious foods that are gf. I do a lot with rice, veggies, chicken and fish, and always eggs for lunch

I think any kind of exercise is better than none. YouTube also carries some great workout videos such as Jillian Michaels and Turbo Jam which I highly recommend

Fantastic job!! Continued success. My weight loss journey has been very similar to yours, although I have an active job and not vegan. I will take some tips from you. Thanks
-
Yes, I work night shift, too. Same as you I have about 15 pounds left. It's important to get exercise in before shift and to DEFINITELY plan your meals!! That's how I guess I've been successful so far. How about you?

I'm 5'5" current weight 139 Goal weight: 125 I've lost 33 pounds so far and want to stay under 130, size 6

Small steps add up to a big goal. Just keep logging and watch what you eat. I eat a LCHF diet that is very protein dense and drink only water. I've lost 30 pounds since August 1. Good luck everyone!!

Great job!! You should be so proud of yourself

Always here to help. Please add me as a friend. I've been on this journey for 2 months and better to do it with friends then alone. Thanks and good luck
-
I'm right there with you. I have a photo of myself on refrigerator where I'm 28 pounds heavier. Every time I go to get something to eat, I see that picture and it motivates me!! Good luck. You're doing great
-
I'd like to join. I have only 15 to lose but 20 would be better. Thanks!

I eat the same lunch everyday before work. 3 Eggs, Triple Threat Oikos Greek yogurt, turkey sausage links, and a teaspoon of nut butter. I can then go to work and not be hungry again until I get home. I like the veggie rice steamers with tuna, chicken, or tilapia for dinner. I rarely eat bread or sweets and only drink…

Try to eat protein dense foods before your shift. It will curb your hunger and cravings. Eat a light meal when you get home at night like veggies, quinoa, and chicken or fish.
-
Eggs, oatmeal, or plain Greek yogurt are good healthy options

I agree. I think women strive toward the impossible perfect body and I agree with you. My boyfriend thinks I'm perfect whether I'm skinny or overweight. Would love to help in your journey.

Would love to help. Yes, you have to change your relationship with food. Live to eat not eat to live is my new mantra. Please add me and good luck. Just know that every day is a new beginning for change

-
Great job everyone!! I'm 5'5" and I'm 3/4 to my goal. Down 28 pounds but about 15 to go. Great motivation for me. Thanks

Great job! Great results!

I pre-log during the week. I basically eat the same lunch everyday and vary the dinner by salads or veggies. Not much variance during the week. I only have a "free" day one day a week. I live an active lifestyle so losing the weight has been relatively easy soon as I started using MFP. Good luck everyone!
