Maybe you could try doing some physical therapy too. I would chat with your doctor about it! Back injuries are tough because you use back for everything from walking to sitting in a chair!! They'll be able to get your 100% mobile and pain free in no time! Best of luck!

I started running when my mom passed away when I was in high school. I'm sorry for your loss, you can add me if you ever need to talk, I hope I could be of service to you! But in regards to working out, it took me some time to get myself to move forward, I felt really "lost" in my life. However it doesn't mean you will be…

Nopeeeeeeee.

I usually run 4 days a week, with one dedicated to a hilly route, 1 long run for the week, and then 2 tempo runs. I "cross train" 2 days a week and then I spend 1 day a week dedicated to running form/drills which isn't usually a very long run! (I'm in the process of changing my strike pattern so I dedicate a little extra…

Well I know everyone has a goal weight, but honestly weight doesn't mean fit/healthy. Try and eat more too, the calories don't necessarily matter as compared to what you consume! 400 calories of salad vrs 400 calories of a Big Mac sit in your body differently (:

In high school I worked at a Gallup call center and I would often stand at my desk to elviate the issue!! Try standing for 15-20 minutes every hour or so! At least that's what I did!

Avoid going in peak hours! I work at a gym but I prefer to workout at my apartment gym where it is less crowded still! I'm very shy! But I made a routine for myself so I came at the same time everyday and saw the same crowd of people so it made me feel like less of an outsider! I hope that helps a bit!! Great job on your…

I've had something similar before and the only thing that personally helped me was staying more hydrated. I'm not sure what caused the headaches or if hydrating is even what helped, but it may be a start for you. Do you consume a lot of caffeine?

Taking the rocket out for a bit >:)

Hey guys. Still really new to how this whole social media thing works! Thanks for all the suggestions and input. I went and got refitted for some different shoes, turns out I was running in a pair completely unfit for me! I'm hoping that this will help out! Also I'm going to change my diet a little bit. Now that I've…

I've always ran with compression sleeves, and I've recently moved into changing to a mid strike, I was having a lot of strike pattern problems when I moved from track to distance running. I've been icing and doing anti inflammatories. I guess I can't tell if I'm being a wimp because I'm hitting a wall or if I should take a…

Well set a few goals, don't worry, you have friends who will throw you in the wagon and push you ;)

Don't let my advice deter you from your goal, BUT I would suggest running a 5k or maybe a 10k. It takes a lot of conditioning to get your body ready to run 13.1. Trying that much distance without some other races under your belt could cause injury, especially if you don't regularly run. Plus, races can be mentally tough as…

Try and dial back to a consistent amount of distance. You're pumped up and motivated which is fantastic, but running miles and miles like a wild gazelle doesn't happen over night :) You'll start to feel much more comfortable once you start building/conditioning your muscles and breathing, etc. Then try and move up no more…

As cliche as this sounds, I really like the Victoria's Secret ones. (VS Sport) They have great support, underwire etc., I actually wear them all the time haha!

I enjoy running for miles and miles like a wild gazelle and mentally and physically torturing myself. But hey. You get great results ;)
