I've never heard of anyone doing that. I'm skeptical that it would be much help. I take it for diabetes, but never lost weight until I joined MFP.

Another vote for chickens. Food in the back of the pantry that is well past its use by date, mushy grapes, going-off milk, bread crusts, banana peels... They turn it all into lovely compost for the garden.

When I started reading this thread I was happy for the op because she had a great attitude, was listening, and seemed likely to turn things around. Hopefully now that she has an eating method she likes, she can adjust her deficit so she loses more and regains that positive attitude.

Woohoo! This morning we went on a nature trail hike. It wasn't very long but lots of up and downs; I didn't need to stop and sit down once! Two months ago I would have been dealing with ankle/foot pain and being out of breath. Even if I hadn't lost an ounce, just being able to do things again makes this so worth while.
