Currently, I am on a low carb diet, so perhaps I could care less about depletion of carb (maybe?). But I did eat lots of high carb foods like breads before I started to get into a strict diet. Now my food is almost entirely based on chicken breast, eggs and vegetables. In my case, would I still need to consider carb…

Thanks for the reply. For doing HIIT 3~4 times a week as many suggests, would I be burning the similar amount of calories as doing low intensity cardio for 7 days a week (if counted weekly of course)? I've been doing steady cardio for 45 minutes 7 days a week.

Well, I've been doing cardio for 3 weeks now.. and I'm still in a terrible shape. 5"8, 220lb.

Thanks for great replies! I guess the patience is the key, as it always has been :)

Thanks for the reply. Would I be burning the same amount of calorie as my current daily routine if counted weekly? I do the 45 minutes everyday, but to be completely honest, it feels too long at times. I hate to give it up.

Guess I will not even bother to use the scale other than every Monday..

That's one reason why I have been keeping record of my weight weekly, but I just happened to be a little surprised as I'm experiencing this for the first time.

Thanks guys, been a great help : )

And do you all use the beaters? Or normal eggs?

Thanks!

Thanks guys, lots of great suggestions, and also a lot of cheers! Finally, I want to ask how people usually do the seasonings on chicken breast and salmon

which type of egg do you eat? ( like sunny side-up, boiled)

It wasn't nutrition advice, but I happened to have heard during consultation about my blood test result and other things not related to dieting. You are right. Why would I go see a doctor just to get nutrition advice?
