  • Welcome back! I recently restarted my journey, too.
  • Can you share how you made them in the air fryer? I was given one for Christmas but haven't used it yet!
  • So sorry to hear that :( at my studio the music is loud enough to keep everyone pumped but DEFINITELY not uncomfortable.
  • I'm 5'7", 26 year old female at 295lbs, 49.5% bf. According to my Inbody analysis I have about 145 lbs lean body mass, so I've been shooting for about 145g of protein a day (mostly from meat and eggs, a tiny bit is from dairy). Do you think I would benefit from using them?
  • My 2017 Resolutions, that are health/fitness related:* Stay committed to keto/lchf lifestyle. * Hike once a month with my boyfriend. * 4 million steps for the year (via Fitbit). For January, I set mini fitness goals to make sure I am moving and focusing on maintaining/building my lean muscle mass as I lose weight.…
  • I disagree, it is an addiction just like any other. I also struggle with binge eating disorder. I have it mostly under control, but any bread, pasta, tortilla, rice, potato, sweets, sweet fruits, etc are triggering for me. I considered cutting my calories down to 1900-2000 calories because when eating 70-75% I feel…
  • This week's weigh in: Last week (9/14/16) - 298.2 lbs This week (9/21/16) - 298.0 lbs That is a loss of 0.2 lbs this week. I'm not too worried about it, I know that since I started lifting this week that my body is retaining water. Avg intake: 2483 calories Low: 1854 calories High: 2734 calories I'm going out of town from…
  • This made me so happy popping on this board and seeing you post!!!! I'm only a few weeks in, so I'm learning with you. I will be honest, hitting 30% of your daily intake bwing from protein is HARD. The science behind this makes sense, and for people with longer journeys like us, more sustainable. Let's do this together!
  • This week's weigh in: Last week (9/7/16) - 295.6 lbs This week (9/14/16) - 298.2 lbs That is up 2.6 lbs this week. Can't wait for this water weight to go away so I can get back on track! Avg Intake 2761 calories Range: 1976 to 4659 With going out of town, I did get a little out of hand with the eating but I did try to make…
  • @Wiccandothis Yeah, I find myself doing the same. If I end up with extra cals at the end of the day I try not to think about it and only eat if I am actually hungry. If I don't have a pretty large breakfast than that usually does end up happening.
  • I eat 2 to 3 whole eggs per day, and I don't have trouble managing my fat macros.
  • I like the fiber one oats and chocolate bars. I have struggled greatly with binge eating disorder since I was a kid. Breads, baked goods, pasta, rice, etc are my trigger foods, so I limit them as much as possible. I love that I don't even think about sneaking food or binging in the few weeks ive been doing em2wl, I'm too…
  • This week's weigh in: Last week (8/31/16) - 295.4 lbs This week (9/7/16) - 295.6 lbs That is up 0.2 lbs this week. Not a big deal, as this is the only day this week that has showed any sort of gain, and I did start my period yestderday so I know my body is in a weird state right now. Here is what my weight looked like…
  • I already do all of those things lol I find that I do better when I have time to make a nice big breakfast to start off my day, and mostly graze throughout the day.
  • Someone contacted me saying it should have been in my confirmation email. I told them the only confirmation email I received was from paypal. I also told them that I got tired of waiting and paid for another one from my computer so that I could do the instant download on a device that I knew it would work on. I am asking…
  • Glad to see you posting in here Erik! I'm going to subscribe to this thread so I can see what experienced members of the community have to say. For me, I'm willing to face a temporary gain if it means I will have better long term success in my weight loss. I still have about 120 lbs to lose, so I'm close to the same…
  • Hope I hear back from them soon! I guess that is what I get for trying to buy it from my phone lol
  • The confirmation email I have does not have that link, it is just the emailed receipt from Paypal. I submitted a contact form on the em2wl website including my receipt number to try and resolve the issue.
  • I paid for the starter kit this morning on my phone, I have my confirmation email with receipt number. How do I download the ebook and audio book?
  • Hi, my name is Marissa. I'm 26 years old and about 305 lbs. I am looking to lose about 120 lbs. I have dabbled with macros when I was on LCHF diet, and most recently when figuring out my BMR, TDEE, calorie intake goals, etc. I'm always looking to learn more, so I might become more active in this group!
  • As others have said, for tracking daily activity I love my Charge HR. I wear a Polar FT7 for actual workouts for slightly more accurate readings of HR and Calories burned. The fitbit gives me a good glimpse of how active I am day to day, in ways you don't really realize!

  • Hi! There is a swimming group that has a lot of good info and it is very active, but I will give my answers! I've only been swimming for 2 months, as a disclaimer, and I do other forms of exercise as well.* At least 3 times a week for around 20-35 minutes. * I have lost 12.4 lbs in about 2.5 months and have currently been…
  • I did it! 1km in 29:10!!!!! I wore my Polar FT7 for my swim, which I just found out today that you can wear for swimming, and according to that I burned 350 calories in that 29 minutes. Since it is only 9/7 and I hit my goal of swimming 1km in 30 minutes, I'm going to up the ante. Swim 1km with 500m of that swim being free…
  • No swim today, but yesterday I did my second 1km swim! This time I did it in 32 min 10 seconds! It was about 2/3 breast stroke, 1/3 freestroke, and a few lengths of backstroke thrown in there. I am hoping to slowly be able to swim more and more free, and less of the other strokes. I find that for one length of free I can…
  • Added! What are your goals for your weight/fitness?
  • Last night I took a huge first step to meeting one of my September goals! That goal is to swim 1km in 30 minutes. Last night, I did my first kilometer, so a new best distance for me, and I did it in 36 min 39 seconds! What made this swim even better, on top of everything else, is that I had accidentally left my kickboard…
  • Today's swim was 28 minutes and 700m. Definitely focused on my form. Specifically breathing during free and keeping my body aligned properly. I have a tendency to sink my hips and try to look much more forward, which causes my head to lift. Slowly improving! Also, to keep track of distance, I bought a little glass jar and…
