I went vegan, problem solved! No one brings vegan goodies lol

I love keeping dates at work for when I get the urge for candy. If that doesn't work I always have a bar of dark chocolate that I can munch on (80%dark) it's too rich for me to eat the entire bar in one sitting.

I have to go to the gym. If I'm at home I make too many excuses not to follow through with my workout.

Good ol' pb&j for me tonight. It was a long day and I didn't want to cook.

My trigger foods are cereal (any kind), peanut butter, and pastries. They are not allowed in my house, so it's a good thing my husband doesn't care for them lol. I will start eating my trigger foods and it leads to full binges, where I just can't stop eating everything in sight. And when I say binge, I mean 2000+ calorie…

I went vegan beginning of this year. I follow the starch solution diet loosely. I do enjoy nuts and avocado and other healthy fats more than the starch solution likes you to have. I feel like it's the best thing I could have done, even if I haven't lost any pounds I can feel the difference in my body.

I'm still working on controlling my binges. I don't keep my trigger foods in the house which helps and I have noticed if my calories are too low for more than 3 days I tend to get into a binge mindset. I am trying to up my calories by 200-300 a day and see if that helps curb my cravings.

Feel free to add.ive been on a plant based diet for about 8 months now and it's the best thing I have ever done for my health.

I try to focus on whole foods and average 1500-1800 calories a day. Sometimes more if I workout a lot or just have a day where I eat everything in sight!

I need to go back to the grocery store and stock up, I didn't have much today, just some apples, corn, avocado, and leafy Greens. Yesterday I had apples, zucchini, leafy Greens, cauliflower, carrots, broccoli, green beans, avocado, corn, red peppers, onions, and sun dried tomatoes.

I use fruit salsa and if I have an avocado that is going soft I'll mix it with the salsa. Right now I have a raspberry salsa that is amazing!
-
I average about 1300-1600 calories a day depending on my exercise for the day. Feel free to add, I do tend to stick to the same foods, fyi

A banana and some honeydew melon

Feel free to add me. I love watching people's transformations, it's very inspiring!

I can relate. I feel guilty if I over eat on something unhealthy that really wasn't worth it. My main guilt is when I hit my calories for the day or if I go over. I feel like I should always have a couple hundred calories left when I go to bed. It's something I'm working on.

Blend frozen bananas to create an ice cream and add whatever fixings you want. Always hits the spot for me.

Personally, I try to stay away from processed vegan food. A lot of what is out there is high in calories and low in nutrients. Focus on eating whole foods, with 0 to minimal processing. Try whole grains, fruits, vegetables, legumes, tofu, nuts and seeds, etc.
-
I have tried the pb and cookies. I thought it was really good!
-
So delicious cashew ice cream is amazing! My husband who isn't an ice cream person has been known to finish off an entire pint of that stuff! I love the snickerdoodle flavor.
-
I agree. Feel free to look through my diary to get any ideas.

5'8 and 155. I would love to get down to 145
-
I add broccoli slaw, bell peppers, radish, carrots, peas, corn, jicima , and avocados. It really depends on my mood

Your body uses carbs as a quick energy source. There are nothing wrong with eating them. Problem is people group carbs from vegetables and whole grains(which provide fiber and other essential nutrients) with refined carbs (highly processed, high in calorie and low in nutrients). Your body uses refined carbs in the same way…

I eat a plant based diet but I haven't tried raw. I don't have access to enough fruits at an effective cost to even attempt it. Good luck, and feel free to add me if you would like some more motivation!

I love peanut butter! I can't have it in my house because I don't know how to moderate my intake. I have been known to eat half a jar or more in one sitting. Usually followed by disbelief from my husband lol
-
I buy really dark chocolate (think 80-90%) and have a square when I crave it . It's too bitter to eat the whole bar. Or I use Chocolate pb2 which usually hits the spot
-
I get my protein from tofu, tempeh, veggies, and I use a protein powder in my oatmeal.

Feel free to add me
