La Tortilla Factory wrap (100 calories) 30 grams of avocado (about 50 calories) 1/4 cup lowfat cottage cheese (45 calories) ---** you can also use half a cup of non-fat greek yogurt instead) leafy greens / steamed veggies / cucumbers etc... Delicious and healthy!

My poor nipples! Also, my daughter is getting bigger, I'm back at work and pumping (ugh!), and it's pretty demanding on my flow. Plus, Milkmakers makes cookies that are so delicious but I wanted to try making my own...

I agree. My digestion has been much better. And seriously, what's up with the Chopra mentioning and subsequent bashing? I never brought him up in my original post.

I completely agree with needing to find a balance between being a mommy and being yourself. I'm right there with you :)

Hi fellow moms! Today I'm gonna try to avoid late-night snacking! It's my downfall. I feel like I constantly need to fuel my body for energy these days too, and I've been craving sweets and CHOCOLATE!

I'm the mother of a seven-month little girl as well :) I recently went back to work after a six-month-long maternity leave.

I never even mentioned the word "medicine". I meant eating / exercising for a body type.

I never said I was confident in it. I'm exploring it. There is a difference. [Edited by MFP Mods]

Fellow mom here! I always blame it on the baby :)

People assume that losing weight is only about calories in verses calories out... and I don't think this is true. I'm very thin (102.5 pounds) and eat over 2,000 calories a day. I recently started studying Ayurveda and it suggests that people need to eat for their body type. So basically your body will process the calories…

I've been a vegetarian my whole life, and I'm half Indian so I was raised on mung beans and kichiri haha... I saw an Ayurvedic specialist who suggest that I cook with ghee also. I add a serving of beans (also great for a source of folic acid) to my meals as well. Good luck!

New York City! Hurricanes and the MTA subway.

A jar of peanut butter... sometimes I don't even need a spoon. Ugh. Gross.

Great job!!!

First of all, I give you credit for getting up at 4:30 am! I also give you credit for 2.9 lb weight loss... good job! What about playing some really good music? That always elevates my mood!

I'm a new mom (first time mother). Feel free to add me!

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I'm not pregnant but I recently had a baby and I know what you're going through! The best advice I can give is to take advantage of the energy that you may have during the second trimester and stay as active as possible! Also, do NOT diet, but eat sensibly and take your vitamins :) Good…

I'm between 5'2" and 5'3" and 102.5 pounds. I recently had a baby and want to return to my pre-pregnancy weight of 98 lbs. I'm not dieting because I'm breastfeeding. Pre-pregnancy measurements were 32-23-34 / 98 pounds.

I have an almost seven month old and I know how tough it can be. The problem for me is that I have been exclusively breastfeeding (recently started on solids too), and my appetite is insatiable. Also, being home has not helped, because I feel the need to snack constantly and I crave sugary/carby foods because I am SOOO…

I can polish off a box of cereal (even full-fat granola!) without milk, straight from the box or bag. And I can bake a cake and eat the entire thing. Also, jars of peanut butter, and several bagels. And chocolate! Sometimes it's weird things, like dry flavored oatmeal.

I'm nursing and I exercise everyday, so I never go below 2000 calories a day. My milk supply drops when I cut my calories back too much! I add breastfeeding to my exercise under cardio haha

I'm also a first time mom of a six month old! I was home for six months and just went back to work last week! I'm only like five pounds away from my pre-baby weight BUT I found that being home and snacking all day long did not help at all! Plus, I exercise regularly and walk so much, but the snacking to combat my…
