I've had very good success in the past with weight loss only to end up gaining most, if not all the weight back. And then some. I was finally diagnosed with binge eating disorder a couple of years ago and am now realizing what's happening. Working on the why is a lot more difficult.

You get sick and tired of being sick and tired of how you look and how you feel. When you get to that point, you remind yourself that every little bit of exercise will help you overcome that sick and tired feeling of being sick and tired.

Binge eating and drinking has been a major struggle for me going back to May, 2017. I've spent too much time using food and beer as a crutch. Then I end up hating myself for it day after day.

I'm a member at Planet Fitness. It met my needs when I first started out. Now, I'd like to progress to more free weights which is something my PF lacks.

My biggest problem is using binge eating to numb the pain of my work related anxiety. I'm going back to my old habits of saying, "Ahhhh.....what the hell. Tomorrow is another day." When tomorrow comes, I repeat the whole tomorrow is another day mantra once again. This needs to stop.

It's a journey worth starting and not giving up on. I'm 60 pounds into my 100 pound journey and have been in a self induced stall for several months. You'll get there. Just remember that there will be a lot of ups and downs as well as a few stalls. Stay focused and keep your eye on the prize.

Being outdoors. Mountain biking, walking, hiking, cross country skiing. Any excuse to soak up that natural vitamin D

There's nothing wrong with easing into a healthier lifestyle. Upping the water intake is a big plus as a starter. I can also relate to the desire to have chocolate over real food. However, 80% or so of dieting starts with what you put in your mouth. Starting with a reasonable calorie amount is good. It's good that you're…

I've been on and off the wagon from my early thirties on. I am just getting back on the wagon once again. What we both need to do is get away from the dieter's mind set of "tomorrow is another day". Realize that you will have ups and downs while dieting. When you have your down days, accept the fact that you didn't eat…

I've had an issue with binge eating and drinking now for the past two months. I was hoping to be down to 180 by Labor Day weekend. Instead, I'm up to 192. I know what the problem is and the reason why I've been binge eating and drinking. I'm in the process of forming a plan to help with those problems. In the meantime, I…

If you have the calories to spare, one drink is not going to harm you. Oddly enough, I remember reading or hearing somewhere that men should limit themselves to no more than two drinks a day while women should limit themselves to no more than one drink a day. Still seems kind of excessive to me. So, one drink in a week's…

I have the H7 and I have a love/hate relationship with mine. I've had a lot of issues trying to sync the thing up with my phone. I would often times have to remove the battery, wait a bit, then re-insert the battery. Once the thing syncs up, it seems to work fine.

One thing my dietician recommended was 5-HTP. She also specified the Now brand for that. I've tried it to help ease the cravings and it didn't do a whole lot for me. You never know. It may work for you. Another thing she recommended was Daxitrol Essential by NeuroScience. She said it's a pretty powerful craving inhibitor,…

My food(s) without brakes are wine, cheese, peanut butter, peanuts, almonds, and mini chocolates. I really need to do something about my lack of self control as it's sabotaging my diet big time.

The more accurate ones will have a chest strap. Right now, I use the Polar HR7 monitor. At rest, it seems pretty accurate. I pretty much use that as my monitor for calorie burn. It doesn't link directly to MFP. However, when I'm done my workout, I'll record the calorie burn from my monitor.

I'm a huge coffee drinker. I'll have two sixteen ounce cups as I'm getting ready for work in the morning. Once at work, I'll average six to seven 12 ounce cups. I haven't seen any effect on appetite or weight loss. Maybe I'm just numb to the effects of caffeine.

My goal is to lose a total of 100 pounds. I'm 37 pounds away from that goal. Unfortunately, the way I ate this past weekend, I won't be seeing those remaining 37 pounds come off too soon.

Feel free to add me if you'd like. I'm 51 and have been yo-yo dieting pretty much my entire life. This time around, I'm thinking things will be different because I'm really focused on getting my eating in order above all else. I'm also a beginning lifter who still has no idea what he's doing but is still trying to learn.

Best wishes to you on your journey. My macros here are 40% carbs, 35% fat, and 25% protein. I always, always have a problem with my fat. Not enough fat and too many carbs. I'm also thinking that the fat and protein ratios need to change for me to something like 25% fat and 35% protein versus the other way around.

I don't consider myself a gym junkie as I only go three times a week. However, I do consider myself as being a beginning lifter. I'm slowly transitioning from resistance machines to free weights and do notice a big difference between the two.

You can do this Trinton. You're already well on your way. Best wishes to you.

I live in a small town where we have two gyms. One of the two is only about 3/4 of a mile from my home. Unfortunately, both close fairly early during the week and their weekend hours are almost non-existent. I drive 10.5 miles to a gym two towns over from me.

I set foot in a gym for the first time this past August. I explained to the trainer what I was looking to accomplish and he was happy enough to introduce me to the resistance machines and how to use them properly. Once you get a quick run down, the machines are not so intimidating.

I have another 55 left to go. I've lost 45 since Feb. 1, 2016.
