I'm not carb cycling or reducing carbs yet, however in the last 3 weeks I've only lost 2 pounds, at which point do I increase my protein and decrease my carbs?

I love my mom, and find it wonderful seeing her. Yes o would describe the pressure on me to eat as a nightmare not going to see her. As I did mention I like to obsessively control the aspects of my life that I can, I think someone on this thread did put things into perspective for me, it could be a psychosomatic reaction..

That's the thing .. I genuinely love seeing and being around my family, I just can't do with the amount of pressure there is to eat.

Cheesy pasta dishes, curries, fried chicken the rest. Weekends are my off days and also low carb days so eating the above seems really stupid to me.

I have tried to explain to her, sat her down and all. She doesn't understand why I need to eat healthy, she knows I'm doing it to look a certain way but she still thinks the food she makes is healthy when its not.

That's wicked! I don't know how you do it! When I was training on my own I'd have people correcting my form which used to make me feel so stupid and embarrassed but now I'm a total BEAST!! Haha

So I was told by someone that if I want to put on muscle I need to start bulking, I actually still look slim as I have wide hips and my weight sits mostly there. I'll probably just eat at maintenance and do more cardio to bring BF% down then do a bulk. Tbh bulking was getting be super depressed

You have commented on my thread before and I have found your input really useful, I'm 5'6-5'7 151 pounds yet I look so slim? I have wide hips which is probably why. I am currently bulking and my body fat percentage is 24℅, I just feel if I start cutting now I'll look even skinner which is not the look I want :/

I put on weight really easily, planning on bulking 8 weeks and then seeing how I look from there and then if I need to I will bulk for another 4 instead of maintaining. iv been bulking for just over a month now. I aim for 0.5-1 pound weight gain every week. Planning on maintaining 8 weeks into my bulk for 4 weeks and then start my cut! Gutted that soon enough I won't be able to eat as much

Yes! You know I was really confused as to whether I am meant to be doing either of them! I just hear the term so much I ended up thinking I'd have to stick to one of the two. So what's do you suggest I should do to look my best in 6 weeks time? More cardio or just lift?
