Yeah, I'm starting to adapt that mentality after reading everyone's explanation that you basically need to cut calories before to prepare and/or restrict after the "cheat meal" to make up for it. I don't think I'll be planning any cheat meals.

Ok, so that really only applies if you use a pedometer and strap it to yourself (like a Fitbit). I use the pedometer on my phone and then set my phone on a treadmill (I don't strap it to me) when I run. So it does not count my steps while on a treadmill. I should be able to count both. It is so hard to say no to junk food! I'm with you. I'm on day 7 and I've gone over my cals several times already. Just always trying to remember how I feel when I eat healthy and exercise!

1200 for me too. Eeesh. I optimistically set my activity to "active" and then realized the standard was sedentary for desk job people. So here we go, 1200 cals.
