It's true though. Haha

Nope, but they are more toned than me, which means they have more muscle. Which means they burn more calories. I'm all flab and bones. Haha. I wasn't allowed to do much muscle development growing up. Tbh the last time I probably built any was in kindergarden, doing monkeybars...before my mother decided to put me in a glass…

No it's just on vacation. But otherwise they do eat out at least once a day.
-
They're well off. And no not normally. Just on vacation, although they do eat out a lot on a normal day too though... You know what boggles my mind? Is the fact that I seem to be the only one gaining weight among them. my sister lives off sweets and "junk food" and she's rail thin.
-
It has more to do with my body composition I think than my height and weight. And routine yo-yo dieting. And doing the same exercises everyday. But I'm 5'2, and 136lb last time I checked. 22yrs of age. And yes I'm sure. I maintained on that for a while before deciding to lose again. Took a long 1yr diet break.

Wasn't helping much. It's the beach, you can't NOT do a lot of walking. but I walk long distances every day of my life. I don't burn as much as I used to.
-
It's okay. Guess I'll just lose it again afterward. I'm just not sure if losing the same weight every year is all that good for ones body.
-
Well yeah, considering my maintenance is only 1600, eating out at restaurants 3 times a day for 2 weeks I guess it's not that hard to go over by that much.
-
No I gained an actual 6lb. With some water weight that eventually went down.
-
I'm glad snacking wasn't a problem for you, around that time of year my sister's family keeps this huge tray of treats out in the open all the time, so I have to practice self control around that stuff too.
-
Yes I did the hand-portion control thing. And I only put balsamic vinegar on my salads. And ordered salad instead of chips.
-
Yeah, haha that's the idea. Well bit more than that. About 18lb more like. But I'll regain once there. How much will be depending on my food choices in the restaurants. Guess I'll just lose the extra flab again after I get back.
-
Well it's not that I'm a pessimist (at least not in weight loss), but this isn't the first time I've gone on vacation with them. The last time was two weeks, and I gained 6lb. I ordered water with each meal, and did the obvious grilled, baked, salads ect. And they eat out more than they eat in. I've offered to cook once,…

Thanks everyone

This one was my fault which makes it more stressful. I didn't see the car it was in my blind spot. And someone was with me in the car. She's injured worse than me. I thought she died. Now I'm just overrun with guilt. And I'm uncertain of my future.
-
I like my legs. My calves are big, so they look nice in heels.
-
Oh and that's my car...^^^ ...or what's left of it...
-
I'm fine thanks. Just a few bruises, a headache, and a stiff neck. Could have been much worse... I'm more mentally scarred than physically. Just worried about the future now, and the people that might have gotten hurt. I tend to worry more about others than myself.

I hate vegetables - hahaha...

I've been binge free for 2 days... (massive accomplishment for me :weary: ) Maybe try to eat more at home then? Or just save some calories each day of the week? Or guess how much you ate with a substitute entry on mfp. What I usually do is eat half and eat the rest at another meal, that tends to balance it out slightly. :)
-
Tbh, I eat healthy with a mix of treats in and I still binge sometimes. But that has more to do with me than my eating habits. I've got some mental issues.
-
There's that "moderation" word again - you see? I wasn't delusional when I said nobody here advocates eating JUST "junk food".
-
I'd like to think of it as a lack of reading comprehension. Teeheehee
-
Nobody here has ever said to just eat junk. They said work it into your calories, eat it in moderation. Many people misinterpret that as them saying hey! Let's live of burgers and pizza! (I totally live of burgers and pizza but they are my own homemade healthy ones, so please reserve judgement)
-
Sorry, haha I was walking and trying not to be run over by a truck while texting
-
I work them into my calories. I don't do them too often though. Just once or twice a week. Mine usually involve sweets and if I have one I crave them for the next 3 days. Which results in me buying a whole box of chocolates and eating the whole thing at once. (But I've struggled with compulsive overeating so might not be…
-
Yes exactly. So people might *think* they aren't losing, but it's just because of water weight that the scale doesn't go down. And it will eventually
-
I don't eat 1200 every day. But my appetite fixes that. Some days I'm less hungry, and some days more hungry. Last week I had a 700cal day. 2 days after that I had a 1600cal day. On autopilot.
