  • You should eat what you like. But I have 3 options I rotate between. 1. Oatmeal with milk (because carbs) 2. 1 slice toast, 2 eggs, and 2 slices bacon (when I have time) 3. Breakfast biscuits with milk. (Because carbs)
  • I drink a lot more than 8. I drink a glass each hour. I don't know about the sciency health stuff and all, but I know drinking it like this makes me binge less.
  • Not physically. But it compensates for less food later on. When I started eating less again, I found it really hard to get full on 1200-1400 calories a day. Fast forward 2 weeks, and now I have to add in things that are more calorie dense because I struggle to meet that goal.
  • Oh, and also drink a glass of water every hour if you can. That helps me too.
  • My psychologist told me that I need to eat 3 meals and 3 snacks, every 3 hours. I binge because of carbs so she told me that I need to have some carbs at each meal/snack, so that my body has a steady supply all day. :)
  • An example of my day... Breakfast: 5 Egg white omelet with veg(160) Snack: Low fat yoghurt (175) Lunch: Chicken stir fry (100g chicken breast, 150g vegetables, some sauce) (323) Snack: Nuts (150 about) Dinner: Tuna sandwich 1 wholewheat bun (130) 1 can tuna in water (130) Cucumber (6) Tomato (10) Lite mayo (15) Tomato…
  • Low calorie, high volume food. Lots of water and liquids.
  • Also, I was only eating that little for 2 months, 4 weeks more than the OP. And I've gotten permanent damage from it. But the difference is I wasn't medically supervised I guess. I was being destructive.
  • Well I'm 5'2, 22yrs and I eat 1200-1400. It's hardly a VLCD. A vlcd is what I did years ago when my e.d was bad, which was eat 400-600cals a day...which permanently gave me low blood pressure and a bunch of other problems. I'm not into that kind of thing anymore, medically supervised or otherwise. But that's just my two…
  • Haha! Or maybe take the batteries out and put them in again.
  • It keeps saying 62.2kg. Honestly can it not just change to 62.1 or 62.3 or just do SOMETHING?! Gosh its been exactly the same for 3 weeks. How?! You want to tell me I have the same amount of poop in me that I had 3 weeks ago? ...
  • I don't know how to explain this : but I've gone about it like the NIKE slogan: Just do it. And that's what I do. I just do it and try not to think about it too much. I treat it like it's an every day thing.
  • I wouldn't know. I don't fast. Reinforces binging habits for me. I also have low blood sugar...which makes it slightly hazardous, because I pass out.
  • Also, they don't teach you life long habits to keep the weight off for good. Like so many other diets. You need to learn what a correct portion size is in order to keep it off for good.
  • Vegetables. I usually drown them in sauce to make them palatable. Or mash them like baby food. And I still hate them. But they are easier to eat that way.
  • For me, practising enough self control to NOT binge on 1000-2000 calories every night. :) I've done good! Been binge free for 2 weeks if I don't count the weekend! ;)
  • Eat real food. It'll sate your appetite better.
  • I usually tell myself out loud : "Be strong, and have self control." That usually helps. I'm getting desperate too. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't lost anything. On 1200. Yeah. I'm starting to think my scale must be messed up.
  • It means I wasn't allowed to use my muscles in sports. Of any kind. Ever. I haven't done any kind of sport since kindergarten. Nothing more strenuous than sweeping the floor at home. I had to sit on my butt most of the time studying. It also means I have much more fat than muscle. Always have. Always been overweight.…
  • To the beach. It's not in the us or anything so I doubt you will know if I said it's name haha.
  • Yeah well, the problem is, I do know how to swim, I just seem to sink like a rock every time I try. So I've got a bit of a fear of water. The nearest I'm getting to that ocean is walking with my feet in the water along the shore. ;) Best part I guess is the sand. You try walking 3 kilometres on that sand...heesh, my calves…
  • Life's too short for rivalries. I've never had a single fight with either one of my siblings. And they treat me better than I most likely deserve. :) my sisters parents GAVE me a car... (which I crashed up on friday...and they are not even angry...)
  • Haha I doubt that. No rivalry between us. I didn't actually mean to bring her into the conversation like that. It's just an observation I make every time I'm there.
  • I have considered that! But deguello is right. I wouldn't know because I'm not there all the time. I don't eat that way all the time myself. In fact I rarely ever eat out at all when I'm home.
  • Well I've been dieting on and off since I was 13. The last time I dieted for a year, in which I lost 43lb. And I sort of maintained that (I gained 10lb back), but I developed somewhat of a binging problem, which I seem to have under control now. So now I'm trying to get into a healthy bmi.
  • Well then I can't explain that. She's a programmer she sits around all day doing nothing. And that's the way she eats. I mean you can calculate for yourself how many calories that is if she eats that way each day.
  • She's a year older than me. 23
  • First of all.. I can't swim...haha... but other than that the best I have is a guess anyway. The restaurants we eat at doesn't have info on mfp. They aren't chains. They're local. So I'd still have to estimate on mfp.
  • Could be. I don't know how they eat if I'm not there. I only see how they eat when I am there. And my sister says she eats like that all the time. Because (and I quote) "I don't have time to cook for myself." So above all her pizza and burgers she also drinks about 8 cups of coffee with sugar and full fat milk, as well as…
  • Well then I don't know. I've been thinking of trying reverse dieting. But I don't know if it actually works or not. Maybe my metabolism is just in a bit of a slump.
