  • It’s been just over 2 weeks since I’ve lost. I actually gained 1 lb. but 206.4-ish has been here for 2 week +. If I change to 1lb a week, it will give me more calories, but I’d like to continue at a more aggressive pace because eating 1500/1600 cals per day is relatively easy for me to maintain. Btw, i am 5’8” Tall...…
  • I've lost 31lb since August 15. I'm close to my goal, another 15 to get me to + - 190... I'm feeling your pain as I'm starting to get frustrated and impatient. I've come a long way, but I'm getting tired of it. I'm going to stay strong, but man 6 months is wearing on me.. I just want to slowly get up to maintenance mode…
  • I was just wondering, because MFP tracks weight, why would you used a different app for weight? This just occurred to me..
  • I don't think it's a matter of trusting the app (MFP) it's a matter of trusting the apps that feeds the app... Really? Because I walked 7500 steps today I should eat an extra 600 calories? I'm sorry, but I call that a bunk. I'm putting in exactly what I eat and we weigh everything. Mfp is helping to record and know what I…
  • Well I weighed in today and I lost 2lb from the previous week. I'm still eating under my allowed calories and fitness pal yells at me when I close out a day, but I am satisfied I feel like I'm getting enough to eat and I'm losing 2 pounds a week. I'm going to keep this up and if there are days I eat a little more for like…
  • Well regardless if things are recording correct or are accurate or not, I'm going to keep going as I am.. staying slightly under my calorie goals and if the app says I didn't eat enough, I'll be the judge of that. I'll weigh in again on Friday and report back any changes
  • Well if you all are telling me I need to eat more, I'll try to get back half of remaining calories and see how it goes. By the way, I'm using Google Fit in my phone to talk activity.
  • By the way, I eat a lot of protein, healthy meats everyday. I eat salad, veggies, fibers everyday. Of course I could eat more but I'm not seeing it as necessary. The question is do people trust the remaining calories as a chance or opportunity to eat more or is it a myth? I have about 40lbs to go.
  • I'm eating more calories, but the remaining calorie adjustment is a combination of anything under 1600 and what it"claims" I burnt in activity... Other than a long walk a few times a week I don't "work out". .. I just go to work everyday... I come in close to 1600 calories eaten each day, but not always. I eat till I'm…
