  • Not much changed from those 4 weeks I didn't track to the 4 I did. I started going to the gym after the month of no tracking and I stopped binge eating all together (as I had a couple days of drinking and eating for celebrations before the 4 weeks of tracking)
  • 8 weeks ago I started making changes to my lifestyle, I wasn't tracking food until 4 weeks ago this Monday that just passed. I did lose 8lbs in those first 4 weeks.
  • Over 8 weeks I've lost 30lbs
  • I close the kitchen, so I'm constantly loving the whole shift. I prep for dinner, then during dinner it's constantly moving, after dinner we clean for close (so while there's a lot of downtime between orders we are constantly cleaning) I'm thinking of getting a fitbit it sounds like the thing to do.
  • Never mind, I will just ask the trainer why. I don't feel like finding all te websites I read. Gonna ask mods to close the thread
  • Yeah you're right I just like to get the facts. I'm down 16lbs I'm 2 week people say it's too much but I track all my calories with a scale and I'm eating fine. I know it's a lot fast just not sure why I'm losing so fast.
  • He never explicitly said the reason why I should do the training I just did some research and I came across that information and was curious about it. Many resources claimed that the body repairing tissues uses up more energy and so it can assist with weightloss. I guess a lot of people have it wrong :/ my bad.
  • I'm eating meatier soups yes, thank you :)
  • h Yeah I'm fine now but thanks I'm just looking to change things up a bit.
  • Trail mix? And yeag I eat soup for dinner so I use eggs for protein.
  • I keep my diary private because it's usually not relevant to any questions I ask and people have a tendency to check out the diary to answer my question. I was just wondering what other foods I could replace with my Hardboiled eggs (nutritional wise) because I'm bored of eating them everyday. Simple answer.
  • If it's not si if it's not significant why is a trainer telling me to do it to lose weight?
  • Never mentioned under eating ever. But yeah yesterday I felt dizzy first time in 2 weeks. I feel fine today. I was just curious because when eating dinner I was feeling full but I forced myself to eat. I'm coming down with a cold so that might have been why I was feeling dizzy.
  • Assuming you need the calories.
  • Think people missed the point of the thread. If you're full should you eat more? I'm locking my diary as it wasn't even done for the day my breakfast is at 1pm for me XD
  • So you decided on slower weightloss so it was much closer to maitenence eating? But if someone is determined enough and they're diligent about logging food they could in theory lose 2lbs a week and slowly adjust their diet to maitenence?
  • I feel a lot better this morning. My body isn't screaming at me right now. We will see how I feel after my 9-10 hour shift on my feet XD If I'm lucky, it'll just be an 8 hour shift tonight.
  • I'm a little disappointed I won't look like Kate Hudson... Damn chest. This thread is great, basically describes everything I did wrong in the past. I dunno I just felt so good about working so hard it was never intended to be a rush to weightloss. I want to reach a goal this time then train myself to eat enough to…
  • Thanks, yeah it's rough. I guess it's my personality. I'm always strive to do better. But when I reach a point where I can't I tend to give up. Maybe I need a psychiatrist lol I know I'm disappointed that I didn't do what I set out to do today. But I know listening to my body is really important. Thanks for the help
  • Yes I know how many calories I've eaten, there was an issue with my account so I tracked it on a temporary account. Today's the first day I have access to my account.
  • 1 lbs a day was never the goal it was just the byproduct of my work. It made me want to push harder, but I think I pushed as hard as I can for the time being.
  • Lucky me, I'm still eating fine. I've lost 20lbs in a month. But for the last two weeks I've been at the gym everyday, sometimes for three hours. Today I was lifting, I usually finish with an hour of cardio but my body was telling me no. I feel dizzy (I had a protein bar before the gym.) I guess I feel down because I…
  • The bean and tortillas sound delicious!!! How many calories do you figure it adds up to?
  • I'm a rookie cook so I'm looking for easy things that I can cook. I make hard boiled eggs and soup, that's about it haha XD
  • I actually got a response as to why it was closed. They closed it for something I never even said. They literally skinned through the thread and took like 2 words out of context and mixed them up. I'm dealing with the manager about it now it's complete nonsense.
  • Maybe I can buy a second thermos for oatmeal and I can eat that as I walk to the gym? What do you guys think?
  • They fill me up a lot I guess I'm looking for higher calorie foods? Since I don't have much time to eat. See most people get more than 30 minute breaks at work for 9 hour shifts but I don't. So I stuff as much as I can down while at work.
  • Weird but I fixed it I think now. I'm eating less than 1000 calories a day. I had a pretty light lunch. Like I said earlier all my food is measured on a scale.
  • Thanks guys all very helpful. I don't care if it's boring right now I'm pretty motivated to just do it for the next 60 days. Once I get past the 60 days I'm gonna tone it down a bit and make it a more realistic routine.
  • The past few days I haven't added my exercise because mfp likes to put it on the next day (I hit the gym at midnight) so I entered it before hand today for the sake of me not having to delete stuff.
