From my own experience - my weight loss slows down when I drink more coffee, eat bread, plenty of sweets and walk little. Going on walk and keeping coffee intake reasonable really helped me to see scales moving. I was 143.3lb in December,2015, now 124.8lb, I am 5.6 tall. I think observing own body really helps. Good luck…

This made me think... I have a friend, who I love to bits. She needs to loose even more than you. Though I never heard from her that she's doing anything constructive about it. So naturally, when we late eat pizza and polish it with wine, and she starts hating herself, I say that she's fine and it's ok to be her - whether…

Had a great 2 hour chat with my parents. I am grateful my mum and dad narrowly escaped car accident. Nearly went into rues, then on the oncomng traffic and finally nearly hitted the ditch. Happy both wildlife and mines survived without any trauma. Proud of my dad's driving skills. Despite windy late evening (almost…

I am grateful for low calorie pizzas :-) Had one today, totally guilt-free, plus added bonus of elliptical training thanks to outdoor parks' gym. Scales are pain, but I do not own any, I find measure tape more cheerful and positive, although if not reached too often.

Barely managed to stay within calorie zone, as had a sleepless night with assignment deadline, needed fuel brain work. Grateful that had time to walk, burned some calories, ate more than normal day, stayed within goal and finished tma, yay!

I am glad I managed to walk today for one hour, and started to have smaller portions, but of more varied foods. I am grateful I have a special person in my life, who knows that I am counting calories and does not mock me. Instead while in shop offers to have fat free cottage cheese so I won't starve till death and can cook…

@SeriouslySta I praise self-employment every day :-) Hope your daughter feels better soon. @bubaluboo horse riding sounds like a lot of fun. @helensingssongs I wish I can swim too, need to learn this thing at last. I am grateful that today I had a quiet day and was able to contemplate and envision my future and do some…

Basa fillets and salad (e.g. lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, sweetcorn, little feta cheese). Or veggie ragout ( basically anything like cauliflower, couragette, carrots etc. chopped and cooked together). I improvise a lot. From recipes with stable contents - veggie honey tagine and ratatouille are nice and low cal if…

I'm 29y.o., 5.6, who used to weight around 114 in my early 20s. Now 142 and honestly mostly trying hard to lessen my hip circumference and overal tone up - more pronounced abs, arms. Losing 18lbs would be nice, but don't mind of swapping them to lean muscle.

Me too, never knew some extra tablespoons of olive oil can add up extra 300 calories. Grateful to stand back and learn from experience ;-)

15th of January is the day when I started to use MFP. I am 142, looking to lost 18lb or so, but mostly to get lean and fit, get rid of unproportionally fat thights and tone up all over. I think I don't mind to stay the same weight, but get less hip circumference and more defined abs and arms, shoulders. Good luck to us.

This day I did almost impossible thing - I did not allow anger and other bad emotions take over and stayed calm where before I'd go crazy for a couple of days at least.

I did stay focused all day, logged off FB and erased password, so I can't simply login every five minutes to lurk in. This is a big thing for me, I am prone to checking it too often for no reason. No more of that, proud of myself :-) also exercised and stayed within calorie goal, despite freshly baked homemade pie present…

I have slept well, did study course work. Stayed within calorie goal and exercised second day in a row (which is tough for me). I am grateful for that - for opportunity to study at uni at last and to watch after myself by eating delicious healthy food and being able to exercise.
