made all my workouts this week, except yoga. My husband and I have been battling a miserable cold and spent yoga day (Valentines Day) watching movies. Feeling worse today, but went to spin anyway. The weekend will be spent getting over this crap!

@Shron123 the lower carbs definitely makes me feel better, but I decided I needed to add some in as I add more strenuous workouts. I also looked into the electrolytes like you suggested so will keep an eye on those. Hope you're recovering well :smiley:

Started a new workout at the gym. I don't know what you call it, but it's a group training session 2x/week with all types of exercises. Definitely feeling it today! I just changed my settings to Active vs. Lightly Active and my goal to 1lb/week and it bumped my calories to 2000/day instead of 1200. That scares me. I don't want to gain, but I'll try it.

Thanks for all of the input! To lose 1.5 lbs/week, MFP says to eat 1200 calories a day. I haven't been tracking my calories lately so I'm not sure where I am with that. Maybe I'll start adding in some carbs and tracking my foods to see if it helps. I chose the low carb option b/c it's worked really well for me in the past.…

I've had blood work recently and everything is good. I am trying to lose weight and am doing a modified low-carb diet, which I've been on for about 6 weeks. Despite all the work I do, I'm still not losing much weight. I'm confused. I like to do cardio for my mental health.

I sleep about the same as I always have, not great, but typical for me. It's been going on like this for several months and other than being sore and weak, I feel pretty good.

Good for you! It was in the 40's today and I opted to not ride b/c of the winds. All of the snow has melted and everything is flooding, even my indoor :( What a mess! I free jumped my guys so at least they got a little bit of a workout. In the 50's tomorrow so if the winds aren't too bad, I'll definitely have to ride :)

I got through the first couple of days of the yoga challenge and decided it wasn't for me! LOL. It was hard! I'm not at that level yet and really just like to use yoga to do stretching and balancing. I'm just going to keep doing the classes I've been doing so I don't hurt myself.

days 28-30: My back has been bothering me pretty bad the last few days so I haven't done much exercising and have actually had some help with chores. day 24: spin "challenge" class. A 1 1/2 hour class! Felt good! Days 25-27 (including Christmas): not much exercise other than regular chores and I did "cheat" on my food 2 of the days. I'm ok with it. I didn't go overboard, but just had a couple of things that I wouldn't normally eat. Back on track tomorrow!

days 19-23: wasn't feeling well so I decided to take it easy for a few days and didn't do anything other than my normal chores and a few rides. Still doing pretty well with food. The scale isn't moving, but I do think my close are fitting better.

day 17: rode day 18: spin class

day 15: spin class, really pushed hard. My quads are tired! Day 16: yoga. Food-wise things are going well. Riding -wise, not so much. I guess I'm going to have to just give in to the weather and ride when it cooperates.

2 weeks of taking control. The weight is slowly coming off and I'm feeling stronger, physically and emotionally. Hope everyone is doing well and taking care of themselves during the holiday season!

day 13: just normal chores, got some much needed rest. Good on food. day 14: chores, nice ride with lots of transitions, focusing on core muscles. Grocery shopping for healthy foods for the week :)

day 11: super cold and windy. Chores took everything out of me. day 12: spin class, really good! Super cold again, so no ride.
