I eat LCHF clean eating. I aim for Less than 20g now so I go back into Ketosis. I have been on a few different woe in the past 13 months - 1st 2 months I just quit sugar, then I read lots & learnt sugar is essentially a carb (der) so next 4 months went Keto. In that total 6 months period I shed 65lbs. Between Christmas &…

You are all my lifeline. LC and you guys are the only reason I have stuck to this woe for over 13 months. It's a record for me.

Milk - no I won't be in Ketosis. But cheese and HWC yep, but don't over indulge. LC (to 50g) I can have more, but Keto (to25g) I treat them as a treat.

Don't know your CW or loss so far, how long have you stayed the same? Your body maybe just taking a breath getting ready for the next burst. I heard a story that weight management is like running up stairs in a high rise building. Even a fit athlete will run up several or many stories, but then need to regroup and walk or…

Wow 35. Grest job

If someone walked into a room and described you, you are not the big girl. You look "normal" - well whatever normal is. Really inspiring

I now don't see LCHF as a diet as that is a short term thing. For me it is a way of life and I have to stick to it from now on. I have worked out I can get to 50g for a treat etc without it causing me to derail, but stay in 30g for my day to day eating.

I read somewhere on MFP a storey about plateaus or stalls. Its like running up a multi storey building's stairs. Unless you are one of the rare extremely fit we all will run up a few flights, then slow down and walk or stop and rest to re-coup and then continue further up in another sprint. Thats what our bodies are also…

There are a lot of books out there that show that eggs dont affect cholesterol levels as much as has been scare mungered in the past. One good one for LC is Cholesterol Clarity by Jimmy Moore. I now dont worry about the number of eggs i eat. Been eating LCHF for 12 months. My blood tests had the best improvements my Dr has…

Well done. I remember the early days & am doing a happy dance for you. Go girl

Haven't seen this old tried til it was revived now. I've been on MFP for 10 months - shed 38kg in that time. Logging everything was the secret and learning my macros. I was like an obsessed woman at first having great losses, and less so in last 2 months and only 5kg in that time. So for me, logging everything was the…

Being negative just pulls me down. I cannot afford to do that to myself.

Happy to have more Aussie friends

Wow 45lb. Well done

I love reading stories where someone showed it to the nasty negative mean speaking people. Go girl. Im sure you will never turn back from reading how great you feel.

Three quarters done! Great job
-
Yep I agree

I cannot stomach the idea of using the main forums. I would get confused with mixed messages, and feel too disheartened for others struggling and sticking to ideals that just would set me up for failure. Thank you to those who have the guts to be on the main forums to pick up and lead others to this thred. That's how I…

Now that means a lot.

Gee I can see your results. Well done

You can reset your streak. Once I had no signal but wrote down my foods to add later. I updated my food diary & reset my streak. Cannot remember how to do it or which device, but it can be done.

All to technical for me.
