Welcome to MFP. Massachusetts as well, right outside of Boston.

This happened to me with my last 20. Still trying to get there. But I have noticed significant improvement in the past month since adding more cardio (Spin). Started with 3 45 minute sessions per week and have just upped it to 4. It is definitely helping.

I drink a lot of water too. About 72-96 ounces per day. And have to pee hourly it seems. But since it is 150 steps round trip from my office to the ladies I am cool with it.

Shoes! At first I wanted to buy new clothes every time I dropped a size but that became impractical and expensive. Instead I have been shopping in my closet (glad I save my favorites from when I was smaller) and having things tailored. I am waiting for the BIG shopping spree for when I reach goal (about 20 pounds from now).

I ignore the calories on my Activity app on the watch and go with what MFP says. Apple Watch is synced to MFP via Apple Health App on my phone: Activity App and Workout App sync to Appley Health and Healthsyncs up with MFP. In the picture you can see both my steps from the Activity app and my Spin calories from the Workout…

Awesome job! When I went from obese to overweight I celebrated with a new pair of shoes. I started at 35.5% in February and am now 26.02%. So close to normal I can taste it!

Beef tenderloin with roasted Brussel sprouts

Apple Watch Sport since June. Very happy with all of the functionality including the heart rate monitor, Activity and Workout apps. And it keeps pretty good time too.

My go to lunch: two Tumaros low carb whole grain wraps (60 calories each) with 2 cups spinach, I add red onion and cukes for crunch. Then protein could be anything. Often leftover from dinner the night before. Today it is a crab cake. But could be roast chicken, ground turkey, tuna or beef tenderloin. Two wraps end up…

I drink two cups (large cups) black with no sugar per day. I do occasionally have another in mid afternoon if I need energy boost and can't go for walk. I Have never logged it except to count towards my water tracking. I have lost 54 lbs.

Non fat plain Greek yogurt with Wyman's wild Maine blueberries and Kind vanilla blueberry flax granola

You go girl! Beautiful job.

I used a Fitbit Flex for about a year until I won an Apple Watch. Love, love the watch because not only is it a fitness tracker with heart rate monitor but it has all of those other cool/fun apps as well. And, oh yeah, it tells time. Not sure I would have actually shelled out the $350 for the Watch because I really did…

Just downloaded and installed the Happy Scale app. Very cool!

It seemed to have resolved itself after the latest iOS upgrades on phone and watch. Though, it did happen the other day, once, post upgrades. I have tried everything and because it does not happen every day I am at a loss as to how to resolve. I have resorted to just deleting the walking activity from my MFP diary when it…

Exactly why I weigh daily as well!
-
Me too. Absolutely love winter!

I got into this mess (overweight) because I "rewarded" myself with food. So I am really conscious of not doing that again with cheat days. Because to me that's all it is. A reward for eating to plan all weak, "I deserve this". Instead, I do like many others and build it into my calorie allotment.

Wine and sweets. Had to cut them out completely. Except on special and rare occasions. The empty calories are just not worth it. I would much rather eat something with the amount of calories but fills me up. Like nuts or fruit.
-
I have lost 55 pounds without ever using one. I suppose if I am ever in a state where I think I am measuring and eating within my MFP guidelines and not losing, then I would certainly use one. I have enough buffer built into my deficit with all of the excercise that I have not had that problem. So, I will continue along…

That's odd. On the iPhone mobile app, go to "more" then "steps"...Apple Watch is showing up for me. You may have to first go to the Health app on the phone and enable MFP as a source.
-
It seems to have all finally been resolved. Last few days the steps are pretty well matched on Health, Activity, and MFP. I wonder if it had something to do wit the iOS upgrades on the iPhone and Watch
-
Not me. I am having the good quality expensive pieces tailored and the rest I donate.

A bowl of blueberries or raspberries with 2 tbsp of Whipped cream and a few mini dark chocolate chips

I lost my first 50 by changing the way I eat. Initially (first two months) I did not even focus on calories. It was all about eating healthier meals and I lost about 15 pounds. Then, in the next 7 months I really started to watch the calories and lost the rest of the 50. During this time I had a Fitbit and tried to walk an…

Daily as well. It allows me to better understand just how non-linear weight loss is. And to know how the things you eat and activities you do cause some of those changes.

That is a great idea!
