To get my muscle-tone back. Stopped lifting regularly two years ago after surgery and haven't gotten back into it. Poor muscle tone is leading to postural issues, so I've got to get back to it somehow. Trying to add in at least some pilates 5 days a week.

Welcome! My diary is open to my friends (and you're welcome to add me), but it's certainly not inspirational. Plenty of sensory issues means I eat some weird stuff lol. Congrats on getting back into lifting, it's so fun!

A chocolate chip pancake, because it's the weekend and they're my favorite. Theoretically I should aim for no breakfast or protein for breakfast, but I'm not that disciplined yet.

Does it really matter if it is?

So great! Moving from weight loss goals to functional goals (lifting, flexibility, running etc) was SO key to overcoming my eating disorder. I still yoyo a bit depending on my health, but these are all really great tips - thanks for the reminder!

I've already had extensive food intolerance testing and have cut it all. Something is still bothering me. I'm actually looking into kinesiology because I'm beginning to think it might be a functional issue more than a food issue. But I'll take a look at these resources, thanks!

You can add me. Similar age, similar weight loss goal, trying to be more active here

Yes, definitely struggle with S.A.D. I also noticed that I breathe very shallowly at night. Probably need a bite guard with tongue position-er as that makes a huge difference in how deeply I breathe at night. Probably time to look into. Good point!

Well today the body aches, headache and lack of appetite hit so apparently this week I'm just sick *sigh* but yes I do think I just need more sleep in general which is not so conducive to functioning in the real world. Also started my multivitamin again as I tend to run low on D and B vitamins and hadn't remembered to take…

I don't believe in soul mates. I believe in two people making the commitment to learning how to serve each other and live at peace with each other and support each other "for better or worse." My parents have been married 57 years, my sister 19, and my husband and I for 17. Sometimes it's definitely "for worse," but we…

Eating vegan mac'n'cheese and apple slices (so tired of turkey) and killing time on the internet. Then I get to help the teenager with a school project (yay).

Starting over again for the - I dunno - 10th time? At my all time high weight and hoping to drop around 20 lbs. Nice to "meet" you all

I'll go on eating jags where I'll eat like a toddler. I literally gag on any food that isn't exactly what I'm in the mood for that moment. Usually something like pancakes or chicken nuggets. Often lasts a week. I'm not typically a picky eater (food allergies aside) so the "I'd rather starve than eat anything in this house"…

I'm back after being derailed by covid. Looking for new friends especially if you're low carb/keto/etc. Really trying to get back to a healthy lifestyle and could use all the motivation/accountability i can get!

The first time I got skinny I developed Anorexia. Surprisingly effective, but trashed my health. Then had 3 babies in under 3 years and gained 25 lbs. So back to MFP, but worked out too hard and ate too little. Got skinny (and muscles!) Fast, but destroyed my adrenals. Had to take time off the gym and eat more to heal.…

I'm around 1200 and could use accountability

Blood sugar/blood pressure would have been my guess. I used to black out during cardio and my doctor said it was due to rapid drop in blood sugar. She prescribed peanut butter pre-workout lol

I have a zillion friends most of whom probably aren't even active anymore because I cut no one. Unless you're deliberately rude or creepy to me, which almost never happens. Don't have the energy to keep track of who is or isn't posting. Interaction is always appreciated though.

Leftover Thai coconut curry and a chocolate chip cookie

Yes please. Took the summer off for knee injury. having trouble getting my groove back. Would love a few friends who will interact daily for encouragement and motivation. Bonus points for nerdy sci-fi fans, people avoiding dairy with open food diaries, or anyone chatty.

Literally on my way now

Just started the 2B Mindfulness program. I'm excited about the eating program and like that it doesn't conflict with my group coaching workouts.

Seems nice
