I've seen my kinesiologist who's working on the muscle imbalance but didn't give exercises. Doctor just said "oh it's inflammation - rest, ice and ibuprofen" - didn't refer to physical therapist. Can push for a referral I guess.

Feel free to add me! I've got autoimmune condition too so I understand the struggle.

I take the Ritual vitamin because I have an autoimmune condition that causes me to be deficient in those specific things. And I drink green tea for a non coffee boost. That's it. Only take what you need to be healthy :)

I've done broth fast for a day or two when I've had inflammation from eating things I'm allergic to (accidentally). Had the usual headache and fatigue, but it did let the inflammation heal without further irritation (aka eating hurts). Can be hard on insulin though esp if done for long periods of time. I can't really think…

Hmm that's interesting. Then again I've been hit on like twice ever - I apparently have bad rbf. So that probably doesn't help

Love this. Lots of married ladies lift without our rings on so someone who seems unfriendly might really just be unavailable. I also lift without my glasses which means I occasionally make "eye contact" without even realising it  fortunately that's not too much of an issue as a 30something lifting in a gym full of…

I like one but specific YMCA in my town. Tons of free weights/squat racks/platform, indoor track, cardio machines and yoga studios. At the hour I went I rarely had to wait long for anything. Can't afford it now though so my gym is my basement.

I require both a chiropractor and a kinesiologist to keep me in alignment. I have bad arches in my feet which lead to imbalance which has caused scoliosis. I've got orthotics in my shoes which help a ton, plus get adjusted every couple weeks to keep me from leaning.
-
Working out definitely helps, but I've found that if I push my deficit too far, I'll have a terrible anxiety episode. Just broke through one this past week because I was eating too little and working out too hard. Balance is important for me. Also dairy and sugar are terrible triggers for me unfortunately.

Feel free to add me. I've been around a while but more motivation is always good!

I just tucked mine into the waistband of my shorts or leggings and threaded the earbuds up under my shirt so they didn't get caught on anything. I listen to music while lifting and don't have Blu tooth so that's what worked best for me.

Feel free to add me. I've fought ana off and on for well over a decade. Still need talking down now and then. Could always use more friends who get it

I just bought a Star trek swimsuit. It is my current weight loss goal to rock it by the end of the summer. Big sci Fi nerd, feel free to add me!

That said, I ate sub 900 cal for a few years and it badly damaged my health. Better to lift heavy and eat more than restrict too much too long.
-
I'm 5'1" and 120 lbs. I've been eating around 1100 cal in order to lose weight. My maintenance is around 1300. I'm just learning that I eat to not be hungry instead of eating to get full and it's not too bad. That said, if it's bedtime and I'm so hungry I think it'll interfere with sleep, I'll eat even if it brings me up…

Nope. We used to try, but our workout styles were really different and I just didn't feel comfortable working out in front of him. He started lifting at 14 so I was totally afraid he'd judge. We do better doing our own thing on our own time.
