You are able to count net carbs but I don’t feel like eating 60 carbohydrate today with all of that fat just to try and get a little bit of fiber. I have been fine since I stopped eating the cheese last week so if it comes up again I will know it’s something above and beyond that.

I have had more cheese in the past few weeks than I normally do, and of course I know the possibility of cheese causing constipation. Just seems odd that all of a sudden this is happening again after nearly 3 months without. My plan is to eliminate cheese altogether for the next 7-10 days and up water intake some.

My wife and myself did a three day egg fast and it crushed through that plateau and got us moving again. We did the three day fast.

My wife and I are both doing it right now. We use the MFP app to log all foods as well. We are 8 weeks in doing the Atkins Diet (Induction Phase of 20g of carbs or less per day), and she is down 22 lbs and I am down 46!! I started at 395, she was at 232. We are losing inches right now which is GREAT!! We LOVE it!!

I eat about 15-20 carbs per day, BUT make sure I eat my calories, near my max most days. I quit drinking pop and THAT was huge for me as I used to drink 6-8 cans per day!

I am eating between 2000-2750 calories per day. Drinking 10-12 cups of water per day, and staying below 20 carbs daily.

We are doing the Atkins diet, and stayed in the Induction phase of 20g if Carbs or less per day.

I don’t expect ANYONE to say anything. I shouldn’t have to explain my weight loss and how I have a doctor watching. Also, I post weekly on the success story page. Also, each week I mention that my diary AND profile is public. Anyone may look. The one time I don’t, this is what I get. Lesson learned.

I don’t step on a scale daily!! It’s not “healthy” for someone with a long journey should they gain a pound a day after busting their butt exercising. Weigh in once or twice a week only. Weight is one thing, losing inches is another. Scale can be deceiving and be a downer from time to time.

Welcome! I too am on the journey to lose over 100. I started about 7 weeks ago and have lost 37 already, BUT feel like I haven’t lost much, AND the scale is stuck in Park this week. Wishing you all the best and glad to see we are now friends on here to keep track daily!

395.9 on May 13. 358.4 on June 23. Goal weight of 245 next April.

I felt the same way when I first started five weeks ago but then after about 7–10 days I felt normal and my energy was up.

Thank you, and not worried about a slow as I am only shooting for 2-3 per week. Water weight loss mostly takes place in first week, not starting the 6th.

Nobody is telling you what is right for you! I was simply promoting the Atkins Low Carb for anyone who may be struggling, encouraging them to give it a try. Sheesh.
