I will take you on in the fajita challenge!

Great job! We weigh about the same with similar goals. Makes me want to keep a spreadsheet as well!

She used to be on my friend list, but I ended up removing her a while ago. Have not seen her in anyone else's comments either. I'm sorry.

hesn92 says they are gross, but I think they are awesome. I just eat a couple right out of the bag.

I've been having pain in my knees and basically have just been sticking to walking, low impact aerobics videos, and I will also do 30 Day Shred, but modify it so my knees don't hurt while doing it. Are you able to take any more than 10 steps?

Hi there! Id love to join this thread! I'm a 42 year old mom of 2, and since January I have lost about 10 lbs tracking everything on Mfp. I've been doing a mixture of some kind of strength training at least 2 to 3 times a week along with some low impact aerobics, walking and jogging. Currently I am on day 27 of 30 Day…

I don't know - I would love it if someone would say that to me while running. As it is right now, nobody looks me in the face when running and I find it really unfriendly. I smile at everyone while running whether they look or not.

Nobody is arguing here that it is not possible. But from our experiences, the weight comes off more slowly. Maybe because we are less active? Maybe other reasons? We are here working on it. That's the important thing!

I'm 42 and trying to get fit. I tend to gain the same 15 lbs over and over again, but it used to come off a lot more quickly. Now it has taken months to drop 5 lbs! I am still working on it though! I do like the circuit training workouts that burn a lot of calories. We can do it Pamela!

Great job in doing this! If my husband would cook the meals, I would be in heaven. :) Good for you!

I wish pregnancy made my butt and hips bigger! After my two kids, my excess is around my middle! You can do it! Just keep at it. I am trying to run lately to lose some body fat.

I'm not sure if this is the correct thing to do, but I put myself as sedentary, even though I really am not completely. I have a desk job and kids, so I am busy. But, I do record my exercise every day and eat those calories. Seems to work ok for me.

I like your frittata idea cross2bear!

Looks yummy! I made a salsa chicken casserole recipe that comes out to be 374 calories a serving. I portioned it out and put it in containers to take to work this week. It has chicken, rice, salsa, soup and cheese, onion layered and has been really filling for me.

Do you enjoy walking? Walking would be great exercise for you. You can even just walk 20 minutes at a time if that works into your schedule. It can burn a lot of calories. without the high impact.

You have a great attitude Mary Murrah. Good luck with your journey.

You will probably stay young looking for the rest of your life. I guess I kind of like my round face, but if you think something is wrong you should see a Dr. Maybe it is some water retention.

Nice job on your weight Loss!

I don't know anything about Soylent, but am interested in your journey. I don't know your story either, but seems that money spent on food at Traders Joe's for your meals would not be a waste of money. But purchasing 120 bottles of Soylent has got to be expensive! I wish you the best on your journey!

Since January I have been making a point to pack my lunch, and I will eat it at my desk while working, and then go for a 1/2 hour walk. It's nice because it burns 100 calories, puts me in a better mood and now I look forward to those walks everyday. Do you work in an area where you can get outside and go for a walk on your…

I mostly have been soda free since Jan 9th. I was a Diet Coke drinker, but just decided it can't be good for me so I stopped drinking it all together. I just order unsweetened iced tea or water when going out to eat and drink the same at home and work. I have had a couple ginger ales since Jan 9th, that's about it. Just…

Nice job on your weight loss!

That should be your calorie goal then. I would try for a week and log everything. Weigh your solids with a digital scale to accurately count your calories and then see how you feel that first week. You can adjust as you go, if you want to increase or decrease your rate of weight loss. Sometimes if you are extremely active…

Good luck to you!

I'm going to bump this thread. That time of year is coming up again and I'm gonna run in the race in April again this year. I was able to complete it for the 3rd year in a row, so, I guess I have to keep trying right? I think I will start running a little more on the treadmill and gradually as it warms up outside I will…

Looks good! Not everything has to be sugar free! And nothing wrong with real peanut butter!

Ok. I'm not sure my body will be hot, but it will be hotter by summer!

I think what you are doing sounds great! It's a great way to get activity in. How are you logging your exercise?
