It's because you are putting more weight on the front side of your feet while in motion. It's not hurting anything but all you got to do is shift the weight to the back side of your feet specifically the heels.

From my experience although i wouldn't say i was a body builder but i had and have some good muscles. The route i took was to lose the weight you want first and for me it was 10-15 pounds under my goal weight, then i gained the 10-15 pounds back in muscle to my goal weight.
